Well, not that I expect anyone to care, but this is my final post on this board. I've already been told point blank that my posts are not wanted, and frankly, I don't even care to post here any longer. Before I leave, though, I have a few things that I would like to say, and I hope that everyone will listen (though something tells me that my words will fall on deaf ears and/or will get twisted or taken out of context). But anyway, here I go...
I am perfectly aware that this board prides itself on "freedom of speech", everyone having the right to say and do anything that they wish. This is fine. I respect that rule. HOWEVER, I don't see why people have to express this in such a negative manner. I think it's great that you all have fun making jokes about the contestants, and I really think that's fine. It's not as though they'll read all of the rude and mean things said about them, and hey, it can be funny. I'll even admit that. But WHY do people have to be sooooo rude over here if you don't happen to share the popular opinion? Like I said in the beginning, I thought this board prided itself on freedom of speech?
I got SLAMMED last night for a post I made, where I said that I HONESTLY thought the crowd had been booing Ruben on last night's show. I had expected fans to defend him (which I think is quite funny to begin with, because I AM a Ruben fan, too), but what I didn't expect was to be told that I shouldn't post a topic ever again. Can't any of you see that you can post an opposing opinion without being RUDE and MEAN? I've seen others get attacked for making a post about something that has already been posted, as well. Why? Maybe it's just me, but I don't get it. There's a thick line between disagreeing, and being down-right NASTY. Also, IF you happen to post a "repeat" thread, why not point that person in the direction of the original post about that topic? I asked several times last night for someone to point out another post that had been written, and NO ONE would tell me. Why is this?
I'm sure that many of you will say that I'm being "sensitive" or "idiotic", but frankly, I am a HUMAN BEING, with feelings. Just like everyone else, I hope. Does it honestly not bother anyone else that people over here are so rude and mean to others? I can't fathom it. I joined here, with hopes that I might find fans of American Idol that love the show as much as I do. What I found, however, is that not many of you even seem like you enjoy the show. Is this a pro-AI board? Because if not, I should have been told in the beginning. You all should take a good look at how you treat the other members of this board, because it isn't pretty.
And why don't I save many of you the trouble, because I KNOW (your all really predictable, you know that?) that this will be seen throughout this post:
You don't have to waist the time, because I am expecting that. I just HOPE that other people are feeling the same way that I am, because if you AREN'T, I truly have to wonder what type of person you are. Goodbye.
