I don't need the money but I do have kids to put through college eventually. Is it worth working long hours at a difficult job in order to make more money? Or should I just enjoy my free time and send them to community college? I trust you and will abide by whatever you say. Thanks.

If that means you want to hang around and be poor, do it if that's what you want. However, once you have children, all bets are off. Now you're living for them. If you want them to receive a decent, expensive education you're gonna have to sacrifice a couple of decades of your life earning that money. Go for the money. You have kids now, it's too late for anything else. Never go up against a Sicilian when DEATH is on the line!!!
