Wonder why nobody give a shit about this show? Maybe it just needs to be bumped. Admittedly there has already been a lot of shows about Las Vegas.

I thought this was great for a network drama. (Keep in mind my standards are incredibly low for network dramas). First Dennis Quaid plays his character and his material given as well as it can be. Loved his funny face when getting punched and his gravelly delivery how he gives every line his Quaidian touch. Emmy nom might be in the works.

Michael Chiklis gangster was pretty blase' though but maybe he will get some distinctive character moments soon. You get the typical procedural murder mystery which was a bit disappointing but I did like the politics and it looks like they are trying to have a historical and western element which I like.

I like the idea of the outdoor settings but it could be even better, they should look at Breaking Bad and try to emulate how they shoot desert scenery. Carrie Ann Moss I missed you, she fills out those early 60s clothes so well but I hope she fills out her scenes a bit better though I know she can do it if she can make Trinity come alive.

Overall the mystery was decent, the acting was high level for network and production values worked for me.

I am not 100% hooked but am in for a second helping.
