Cochran, Phillip, Tarzan, Brandon, and Erik? What a fucked up tribe. They are pretty much rigging the season for Cochran. Any real all star cast without these idiot male players or his friends (Corinne, Dawn, Andrea) and he would be toast. Just putting Marty on this cast and Cochran would be finished so Probst had to make sure every male player is a strategic moron and the girls are his real life BFFs who probably all said in the pre-show they love cochran and wouldn't hold his actions on SP against him.

I'll lmao if Dawn just lied to get back on and then boots his ass on day 3.

Um, what? Brandon was a huge character. And people like myself got a big kick out of his random ass meltdowns. I think he was far more entertaining than his uncle and certainly a presence that the show had not had before at all. Phillip and Brandon, to me, are the only two people that would have to be brought back for a Fans vs. Favorites from the last two seasons. They were like 90% of my entertainment value from S22/S23.

I don't know why you then went on to make an argument for Troyzan. The guy was a non-character that only got screen time because he was an antagonist (and not a very clever one) for the women for about two episodes. Before that point, he had literally done nothing in the game. I think you can make better arguments for David, Matt and Jim than Troyzan.

As far as this tribe goes, Brandon/Brenda/Cochran/Corinne/Dawn/Marty/Phillip are all clearly All Star-worthy contestants in my mind. They all had a great deal of confessionals and left a unique mark on their respective seasons. The other three spots are pretty much padding though, but that's alright.

Holly/Jane are the only clear All Stars from S21-S23 that seem M.I.A. but Holly is too similar to Dawn (who was more memorable to most viewers) and Jane is kind of in a Tarzan situation where it's 90% likely she would go home right away for being a huge physical liability. S24 probably shouldn't be neglected entirely. I think Alicia is easily one of the five biggest female characters since Nicaragua, so having her on would really tighten up the ship a bit. Then again, it might be a waste because while there's at least a chance that Corinne or Phillip could play things right and win a million dollars, I can't conceive of any scenario under which Alicia would be capable of earning such a reward.

Also, people are saying the deck is stacked for Cochran? Um...what? Not only has he proven himself to be extremely socially awkward, but he's a huge physical liability. I don't think he's guaranteed anything in this game and he could end up being the weakest member of his entire tribe (unless Tarzan finds his way onto S26). Brandon probably has the best shot for my money. People will gravitate towards him because of his strength and he could win key immunities at the end if need be.

noone in this thread gives a shit about your (or anyone else's for this matter) opinion on the cast. This is a thread to find out what the cast is exactly.

Anyway:
what we have so far:
Cochran, Corinne: Confirmed by Edna
Dawn: all signs point to yes, since she hasn't tweeted since May 15. Edna at the beginning said no, but then added that she hasn't returned her calls, so I'd say probably yes, but with doubt obviously.
Philip: there is that comment about S22 airtime and also he'd be a likely candidate to come back. No confirmation thus far.
Andrea: hasn't tweeted since May 17, and even before her tweets were less than usual.
Troyzan: not on. Said it's not an all-star but it Troyzan we are talking about, so if he wasn't picked he could say anything.
Eric, Brandon, Francesca: no proof to confirm or opposite. Eric doesn't tweet regularly, Brandon the same, Francesca has deleted her twitter. If someone could check their fbs it would help.

Also, don't take for the granted that it's FvF and there are only 10 returnees, for all we know it could be full returnees season (and about Troyzan's comment: a) it's Troyzan b) it could be thematically different from an All Star season, like Second Chances or sth)

If Corinne and (potentially) Erik or Natalie are back, then it seems likely they'd want a representative from Tocantins and (maybe) Samoa to bridge the gap, even though we're going to have Swan on S25.

Stephen and Erinn are still active on Twitter, and Coach, JT and Tyson have already been back so unless I'm missing any other potential "favourites" from that season we won't be getting any returning Tocantins-ers.

Even though I know Cyberball just meant to say "S23" instead of "S24," that comment doesn't really add up. Cochran being a lock and Brandon and Dawn being potentials doesn't "punish" S23. Those three are the ones I'd expect to return from South Pacific in any scenario. Sophie, Albert, Rick, and Edna weren't exactly huge character or popular with the fans.

The point is that there are too many people from RI and SP. Andrea did nothing, Dawn did nothing, Fransquea was a first boot, Brandon wasn't entertaining to me. Tha's already four spots taken that could have been filled from Guatemala, Exile, Micro, China, Gabon. If they can go all the way back to Mike Skupin, then there is no excuse not to get the more interesting people and not dumb people from past seasons.

I can't imagine Francesca coming back , she has done nothing to warrant coming back. Cochran ? Don't get me started on that worthless player , he's not going to be captain america and turn from a 98 pound weakling to a superfit specimen , he's still going to the same old neurotic weak player that needs to be babysit constantly or he'll just screw things up.

While it may be already be pretty certain that she is coming back, as someone who is slightly embarrassed to admit readin her blog every day, I can tell yo that Dawn has not updated her blog in two weeks (very rare). She is almost definitely on this season.

Troyzan/Cocrhan/Brandon and Phillip are locks for the guys.

The last spot could go to Marty, Erik or Matt. But I think it will probably go to Matt, seems like a likely choice.

Of the the females I think Corinne and Andrea are the only two locks. Andrea has her little sister tweeting for her.

Dawn I'm on the fence with. Edna said she wasnt on originally, which makes me think she isnt because I guarantee the survivors all know who is going and who is on, idk seems weird.

Francesca better not be on. I can name 100 other females that deserve another spot and who I would rather see than her. I think this one might be wishful thinking on some peoples parts.

Jane, I heard would not be back on. Plus if Dawn is on, I doubt she would be on as well. And I really hope she isnt.

Natalie B hasnt tweeted since the 17th and she colored her hair brown just shortly after going blonde....maybe they had 1 too many blondes ala Annie in BB?

Chelsea hasnt been tweeting much and hasnt been doing appearances like some of the other girls (Kat, Sabrina). I also think she might have a friend tweeting for her? Probst loved her and asked people if they would want to see her return, plus she was a high vote getter for FF, I think she could be a possibility.

The girls are so hard to tell.
