I'm no fan of Colton for other reasons besides that he might be racists. I can't stand him actually. I know there has to be fans if it weren't for the racist stigma surrounding him. Russel has fans even Cochran does, so I know a lot more fans of Colton exist than it seems. I guess the only bright side is this is the one time that the racist label being played had a good outcome by shutting down Colton. Usually cruds like Colton don't give anyone enough ammunition to play the racists trump card against them.

I have loved to hate him and enjoyed every second of it, no matter how cringeworthy it's been at times. It'd been years since a player got me so fired up. And no, the last one wasn't Russell. Hell, we might have to go back all the way to PI Fairplay to find someone who made my blood boil in such a fashion. Did I want Colton to win? Nope. But I did want to see him get far and then crash and burn and get blindsided in a über-humiliating way à la Randy. In spite of coming across as a despicable little piece of shit - which he likely is, although I don't know if he's as bad IRL as he's been portrayed on TV - there's no denying that not only does he make for great television, but he's one of the few castaways from this season who actually played. He didn't have a shot in hell at winning IMO, but he took that game by the horns and I would have loved to see how he would have fared had he not been medevaced. So if he comes back on the show (which I'm 99.9% sure he will) will I watch? Hell to the yeah. I find assholes who play the game hard like to him to be infinitely more interesting to watch than clownesque characters such as Phillip Sheppard.

I didn't like Colton because rather than just being a villian he was over the top rude, kind of pathetic and, I don't know the word I'm looking for, a rotten apple or scourge. Kind of like how Cochran was liability to the whole tribe but at least Cochran was somewhat likable and entertaining and not rude. I guess what I'm saying is you can be a villian without being totally unlikable or impersonable. Colton was just over the top nasty and I really disliked how he tried to act like he was a hot stuck up bitch towards other men and wanted to hang on females' skirts even when they didn't want him around. In short I found him too annoying and nasty to be entertaining.

I never got the idea that Colton was playing, unless you mean TV time. His attitude with the other players from the start was going to kill his chances (as Mike told him in one of the early episode videos), and going to TC for no real reason put his team down a man and would have cost them.
