I think that they bring other clothing incase they want to wear something else for the challenge, like wearing pants if you are going to be tumbling down a rough cargo net or a swimsuit if you didn't wear it to the challenge & it involves water.

Given the promos/teasers are all about Troy, I think it's safe to say Leif is going because if Greg was going he's more of an established character and he's get the episode around his boot. Leif is a non-entity, so his boot would match up the story being all about Troy.
