I think there where two notable scenes that turned out to be irrelevant to what happened in the episode, and revolved around Kim. imo these may be foreshadowing a move that will be pivotal this season.
In Episode 4, before the men went to tribal council, there was a scene between Kim and Sabrina that was very Sophie-esque. Kim said something about Sabrina wanting to shake up the game, and she did not appear to be in favour of that. This appeared to be a mirror of Sophie's confessions about Albert wanting to shake up the game. I think this hints self awareness on Kim's part where she know where she stands in the game, and she knows how small votes my affect her long term plans. M
In episode 6, once again before tribal council, Kim said something like- "I'm going to carry my idol in my back pocket, just in case". This also depicts self awareness. Also, it could be reflecting her possible distrust in her new allies (troy and jay), where if everyone can vote for anyone at tribal council, Troy and jay may vote with the guys. I think these doubts may come into play again in episode 8.
The directional tone of both scenes seemed rather like Parvati's tone when she spoke about what her plans for both idols were in the HVV merge. That resulted in a big move at that tribal council.
I think both scenes foreshadow Kim making a big move with her idol and gaining leverage. My guess is that she will smell betrayal and correctly play her idol, or after Troy plays his idol, she immediately counters by playing her idol.
Imo, she does not come across as cocky
