I didn't say it wasn't creditable, good for her. I said there's a difference between being a stage kiddie whose parents pay for music lessons and help you and support you etc and trying to make it in the music industry by playing gigs in smoky, shitty dive bars for years on end.

What's the difference between her and other kids with stage parents on this show like Archbot and Katie Stevens, seems when it came to them everyone hated them but Jessica gets a pass for being exactly the same but a better technical vocalist.

This is the American voting audience we're talking about, something doesn't even have to be true for it to effect a contestant. Jessica may not even be a diva bitch, but I think if people didn't already think that, they do now after the video. Maybe it was largely scripted, who knows, but that doesn't really matter to the voters. If they think she's a cold bitch they'll do the same thing to her they have been doing to Elise, hell they already did, and worse they voted her out. She's only there because of the "miraculous" judges' save.

Most of the contestants whose personalities America hated because of the show probably weren't as bad as they seemed. Further, we know there are contestants who America loved who actually seemed to have pretty shitty personalities (Gokey, Constantcrap, Michael Lynche etc). Its all in the interpretation and the impression the show wants the masses to have of a contestant.

Yeah the "pick a group" thing has been done forever.
