OMEDETO, CATHY!!

I have a bad feeling this will be as awful as series 6 was. The oldest female candidate isn't even in her 30s wtf? Series 2 and 4 had amazing casts with lots of diversity. I hate a lot of the people this year, but hopefully it won't be as bad as the 4th series of the Irish version aired last fall.

Here's hoping episode 2 will be a lot better and/or pick up the pace.

It sucks that Biliyana got fired since she brought pretty much the only entertainment in this episode. I wanted to stab her shrill voice though, so maybe it's best she left early.

Best moment was Gabrielle's hysterical meltdown in the BR. And I thought she was relatively normal up until that point. <3

I personally think it's down to one of these two factors:

1) Sugar mentioned that he knew all of the business ideas of each contestant prior to the show, so theoretically he would have narrowed down which ideas were worth investing in and which weren't. It's probable that Gabrielle and Katie both had ideas which Sugar approves of whereas Bilyana didn't.

2) The last female sugar hired was Stella, who like Bilyana was a gamebot battleaxe figure, and of course Stella has now gone on to sue Sugar for wrongful dismissal. The argument could be that because of the Stella lawsuit Sugar doesn't want to risk hiring anyone similar to her, so got rid of Bilyana at the first oppertunity.

Thank god that fug beast Maria got fired because she wasn't likable whatsoever. I was worried for Jane when Lord Sugar was trying to intimidate her but luckily she survived. <3

It's kind of sad though I still don't know everyone's names yet. I usually got them down after the first episode.

Jane and Jenna not saying goodbye to Maria </3 That made me lose all respect I had for them (and I had not that much respect for them to begin with).

I think the standouts so far are Jane, Katie, Stephen and Adam to a lesser extent. Everyone else is forgettable right now.

really, cg? Jane? I loved it when Sugar called her out for trying to pull the sob story shit. but i'm also glad purple eyeliner got the sack.

the only good thing that was in that episode was that microsecond of blond guy noticeably fondling his penis in his undies (I'm too lazy to create a gif).

Anyway, yea I'm iffy on Jane. I was peeved that she caved to the annoying +%$* who was pushing the splish splash instead of siding with the ever-powerful Katiegoddess. (and we all know people named Katie are auto-goddesses). I did still think Jane was smart though, after bringing in the annoying bitch and kellypurple to the final boardroom instead of Katie.
