I do plan on seeing The Cult's free show at Auditorium Shores next Saturday though.

Everyone wears Trilby hats and V-neck tshirts, and smokes clove cigarettes. Then, they go around town watching movies from unknowns, call themselves "indies" and bitch about how cool sxsw was before it became corporate. Mixed in between are concerts by pre-Grunge Alt bands. Everyone claims they smoked a joint with Dave Matthews and Michael Stipe while watching Morrissey. Most of the actual Texans still left in Austin usually go visit friends in Houston or DFW that week.
