He just sorta ended up there by chance, and he crowed about it for days because he had delusions of grandeur that led him to believe that he had some big plan all along to get him there and it worked, and now if he can just win the final hoh or have someone take him to the F2, then (according to him) he was a GUARANTEED winner because of his outstanding gameplay and he would win the jury's votes in a landslide. Add to that many late night monologues to the backyard camera in which he considered himself a shoo-in for all stars, and had a chance at america's favorite HG prize, and finally a cursory look at his performance in every competition of the summer which can be summarized into one word: dreadful. He's just a big fat homer simpson type of fail. And the saddest part about it is that he doesn't see it for what it was and still suffers from many of the same ludicrous delusions. THAT'S WHY he's considered the worst player ever.

Some might say that Carol, who wanted off the show as quickly as possible, might have been one of the smartest people to ever enter the house. As for Adam and the broken records that are starting to echo around here: he truly sucked. The man still believes his own hype. (Ask anyone who's ever interviewed him.) Don't encourage him by giving him excuses.
