It seems each season of Survivor coresponds with each Final Fantasy game.
I don't know enough about Final Fantasy 1-3, so I won't compare them to Survivor 1-3.
Survivor 4 (Marquesas) = Final Fantasy 4. Beginnings of real strategy in Survivor. Beginnings of active battle system in Final Fantasy 4.
Survivor 5 (Thailand) = Final Fantasy 5. Obscure Survivor and obscure Final Fantasy (that didn't come out in the US until years after it was released in Japan)
Survivor 6 (Amazon) = Final Fantasy 6. Strategy gets more complex in Amazon as Final Fantasy 6 brings the Final Fantasy franchise to a new level of complexity.
Survivor 7 (Pearl Islands) = Final Fantasy 7. Classic season of Survivor. Classic Final Fantasy game.
Survivor 8 (All-Stars) = Final Fantasy 8. Very mixed reviews of All-Stars. Very mixed reviews of Final Fantasy 8.
Survivor 9 (Vanuatu) = Final Fantasy 9. Vanuatu gets lost in the shuffle in relating to most Survivor seasons. Final Fantasy 9 gets lost in the shuffle in relating to most Final Fantasy games.
Survivor 10 (Palau) = Final Fantasy 10. Most people think it is a classic season of Survivor, with a few people giving it a lot of criticism. Most people think it is a classic Final Fantasy game, with a few people giving it a lot of criticism.
Survivor 11 (Guatamala) = Final Fantasy 11. Obscure season with 2 former players returning. Obscure Final Fantasy game with it being a MMORG instead of an offline game.
Survivor 12 (Exile Island) = Final Fantasy 12. A solid Survivor season. A solid Final Fantasy game.
