Tom Santilli Survivor Examiner Greg Smith is not a name that will go down in Survivor history. The name Tarzan though, might have a better chance. Greg "Tarzan" Smith was the oldest male and one of the most memorable, if eccentric, characters of the season. He had the smarts of a rocket scientist crossed with the zany insanity of Phillip Sheppard, the former federal agent from Redemption Island. He began the game not able to remember anybody's name, and ended the game with female under-garments on his head. In-between he was accused of tossing his poopy underwear in the washing water, a claim that he still denies (see below). But although Tarzan seemed like the oddball that everyone wanted to take to the end to win against, the closer he got the more dangerous he became. He over-stepped his comfort zone when he pushed Alicia to turn on Kim too early, and it exposed him as a person actually playing the game to get to the end. With a male majority on the jury, many thought that he could have actually won had he reached the Final 3. But Tarzan was outplayed and even though he was the last man standing, his time in the game is done. Who knows how his mind will work in deciding on who wins the million. A quick note: Moments into the interview, it was clear that this guy is no joke! His massive vocabulary was shown on air this season but hearing him talk and being able to understand what he is saying requires a thesaurus. He also gave very extensive answers, sometimes going off on 2-3 minute tangents before returning to answer the original question. There is truly no one out there quite like Tarzan. Here is a transcript - summarized when necessary for space reasons, and paraphrased when words not of this Earth were used - from my discussion earlier today with Tarzan (also left out was an entire rant about how Tarzan implies that he may have been able to heal Colton enough to keep him in the game...): Could you talk about your strategy to help the girls instead of the guys after the merge? Yes, some of these things were so [misleading], but Troyzan and I at one point early on had joined as a nucleus, metaphorically speaking. We brought along Jonas and Leif and then Colton, and Colton was our foil. But basically I was doing all of the plots. While I was with the guys I could keep them together, and I even changed Alicia so we could vote out Monica. But when we merged, I realized I no longer had Troyzan for certain, he was wavering towards the Salani girls. He wasn't solid anymore, and I hadn't expected that. And I knew that Michael and Jay-bird weren't solid. With regard to [Survivor], you have to strategize like it was a chess game. With Leif and Jonas, I don't believe they would play chess very well. They were wishy-washy and you had to keep reminding them, which was scary. So the guys were being hebetudinous [meaning: Dullness of mind, mentally lethargic], and they weren't playing the game very well at that point. So I thought if I could gather the guys together [with Alicia], we could [take out the other players]. In a sense though, I was betrayed in that I couldn't get them together [like we had previously planned]. So the other part of my arrangement [with Alicia] was that if I couldn't get her a [group] of men, I would join her and help get rid of the guys. If I wanted a shot at my wife stepping foot on that island, my best play was to ingratiate myself with the girls since the guys were too scatter-brained. What has the reaction been from people back home? Basically I measure my friends all my life very carefully. Of my friends (laughing), of course their response is going to be very favorable. But I understand that they have to edit the show a certain way. So was the show edited unfairly as far as your portrayal? You said last night that you were misunderstood, in what ways are you misunderstood? Do you watch "Big Bang Theory?" Do you know who Sheldon is? I knew no matter what I said that it would go over their heads. If you say something too far above a person's head...for example I know thermo-dynamics. I was trying to help build them a shelter so that they would stay warmer [as it was intensely cold there at night]. Nobody understood what I was trying to say. So what did we do? We ended up building a different kind of shelter that [was suited for this particular environment]. I made a chicken trap. No one understood, but it caught six chickens which I wasn't given credit for on TV, and no one helped me with. I think by hand they caught four chickens but my trap caught six. [These kind of misunderstandings] happened again and again. I [would catch rare bugs], and instead of really appreciating the beauty of some of God's creatures, I could see that some of them thought it was weird. I'm a micro-biologist and a surgeon, but they don't know what that means. I spent 30 years as a surgeon taking care of gun-shot wounds, knife stabs and all kinds of things and I didn't get a single patient infected and saved God knows how many lives. But here they are worrying about what I'm telling them in regards to boiling water. In a sense, I've become a bit contumacious [meaning: Stubbornly disobedient] with their stupidity. So that's why I threw my drawers in there. You are referring to the "poopy underwear" claim from an earlier episode. I was usurped in that particular scene because I had already boiled that water for all of us, and do you know how hard it was first of all to even get drinking water? I was the guy that would carry all of the water to the camp because I was a doctor and they trusted me to boil the water so that there weren't any parasites in it. But you don't want to waste the [boiled] water for drinking. So I was the guy boiling the water and I had already washed my clothes. So Chelsea just beat me to throwing her clothes in there! I don't know [we had to share washing water], because there was like 10 people there, and if we had to have 10 pots of washing water? We'd all go thirsty. So she usurped me by using the boiling water that I had already prepared, and then knowing the cameras were filming us she tried to denigrate me, and she succeeded! Sabrina tried to help her and said that I had poopy drawers because I had a stain on my pants. It was what I said it was, I had just washed my pants and there was a intractable stain from the soot of the fire which we had to lay around, and by the way Sabrina had the same mark on her bikini when she accused me! And the reality is I hadn't even pooped yet! So those were not poopy undies, and how dare Chelsea do that to me. I resented her for it. But I'm not stupid, I knew if I argued about it [too much, that I may get voted off soon after, so I dropped it]. You were the last remaining man in the game, why do you feel the women kept you around as long as they did? I would like to think that it was my acumen with regard to female nature. I do understand women. All my life I've cared more about women than men. I love women in the sense that I want them to be the best they can be. But the real reason is that I do hope that they sensed the sincerity and they empathized with the romantic idea of being able to embrace my wife on the sands of Samoa. Now maybe they didn't think that deep, but I thought and I still think, that they let Tarzan see his wife. I'd rather believe romantically that that was the reason. You say that you were talking at too high a level for the others, but do you think that you ultimately underestimated the women as far as gameplay? No, I didn't underestimate them at all. I underestimated the men. If the men had been smarter - actually it isn't a matter of smarter or dumber - if the men hadn't been influenced so much by the women the reality is that they needed to stick together. The reality is that I was betrayed when we became Tikiano. If they had just realized the rationale of what I was trying to get them to do, they may have gone a different way. But once you lose the queen in a chess game [referring to Colton], almost any chess player realizes they are in deep feces. At that point, it's a mortiferous situation...(laughs), that means a poopy situation.

And so, some of the things I would say to -- and of course, if you saw more than 42 minutes and you saw the whole thing, you'd understand that more was going on than what was seen on TV. But part of the thing is maybe telling Kim that it's really her I wanted to blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, when actually, Alicia should've known.... Thanks for posting the interview. Interesting read - although now I have a headache from trying to decipher what he's babbling about. Listening to this sort of chatter for 34 days would try the patience of Job.

Most of them have been pleasant, a few have been contentious, and one was a complete disaster. But with all of them I had a pretty good idea of what to expect before they started. With Greg “Tarzan” Smith I was flying blind. Fortunately I found “Survivor: One World’s” cross-dressing enigma to be a delight. When I was able to get a word in I asked him about his hidden strategies, his feud with Chelsea, and the shocks on his now-famous jeep… Gordon Holmes: You’ve been tough to get a handle on this season. It seems like your social game was very abrasive toward the women at times. Was that part of your game or was that Tarzan being Tarzan? Greg “Tarzan” Smith: Actually, I’m a plastic surgeon, and 98% of my practice is women, so I understand women very well. However, I didn’t want to ingratiate myself to the females out of respect for my wife. In the beginning I felt that my best game would be to do nothing to cause any camaraderie with the women and just let the young boys do that. But my primary strategy, because it was men vs. women, was to organize the men. And I did that in a subliminal way because I realized that the smart way for the average person to advance in the game is to stay under the current so people don’t see you as a threat. And I think I deserve an Academy Award (laughs). Holmes: You were very defensive of Colton early on. How did that work into your strategy? Smith: The smart thing for me to do in the beginning was to coalesce all the men against the women. Which I did, and I allowed Colton to take credit for it. And in his immaturity and narcissism he was more than happy to seem to be the leader. And ironically, if it hadn’t been for me, Colton would have been one of the first people to go. I did the math, and I needed a coterie of five men to whip the girls and beat any straggling boys. Holmes: You tried to warn Troyzan about Kim being in charge. Why didn’t you stick with him when he realized you were right? Smith: You saw that Troyzan and I were the nucleus and we mostly stayed bonded. However, midway when I was betrayed by Troyzan he lost his compass, he thought he was part of Salani and that was his fatal error. It’s like in chess if you lose the queen early in the game you have to save as many pawns as possible, but in reality you’re probably going to lose. When I lost Troyzan, I’d been around long enough and portrayed myself well enough at that point I thought I could ingratiate myself with the women. I was able to ingratiate myself through my relationship with Alicia. And as you saw last night, Alicia ultimately betrayed me. Holmes: Part of your strategy last night was to bow out at four and become a jury advocate. Was that something you were at all considering or was that just a way to move forward? Smith: I’m an old guy, I’ve been successful in life, and I don’t need the money. But, I need the adventure. And, it’d been an adventure. But even with the guys I said, “When we get down to five, I’m willing to step down. But let me help you get to the five.” And I kept my word with everything, unlike Michael, if he’d kept his word he could have lasted longer. Holmes: Why did Michael give you the middle finger after your farewell last night? Smith: Toward the end the girls were worried that they had betrayed all the guys, but the guys didn’t know that they had done that with my help. I had kept that secret. So, the girls were worried that if I’d made it to the final three (that I’d have received votes). So, during Tribal Council I told them that I helped get rid of them. I told the guys that I helped get them eliminated. I told the Tribal Council that I’m a millionaire. And that’s the worst thing you can say in something like that because they’ll think I don’t need it. I did that on purpose. I denigrated myself in front of the Tribal Council. Holmes: With the way the show was edited, sometimes it seemed like you were just there. Like you weren’t playing the game. What moves were you making that we didn’t see? Smith: I told them I was a medic; I told them I was 52. But I got tired of that game, so I said, ”Even if you vote me out; I’m really a plastic surgeon and I’m really 64.” And everyone told me if I reveal I’m a plastic surgeon that I’d be the first one to be kicked out. But after 15 days, I felt like I’d been there long enough. And the Tarzan thing throws off that I’m a doctor. I’m Tarzan in the operating room. Holmes: (Laughs) Oh really? Smith: When a surgery goes fantastically I’ll call out the Tarzan yell in the operating room. Holmes: Let’s do some word association. How about we start with… Smith: Maybe I shouldn’t. I tend to be pretty frank. (Laughs) Holmes: That’s the point of this exercise, Tarzan. Let’s start with Kat. Smith: Young, naïve. Holmes: Alicia? Smith: The full complement of sexual dimorphism. Holmes: Oh man, you’re going to make me bust out a dictionary. Chelsea? Smith: Man hater. Holmes: Troyzan? Smith: Creative, intelligent, friend. Holmes: Sabrina? Smith: Intelligent, needs better syntax as a teacher. Holmes: Kim? Smith: Likable, persuasive, beautiful. First thing that came to mind is her eyes. Holmes: Let’s finish this with Christina. Smith: (Laughs) Sycophant. Holmes: You and Chelsea didn’t seem to get along very well out there. What was your relationship like? Smith: Every time the cameras were rolling I was made to look obnoxious. Admittedly for frivolity to lighten the mood, I’d done a few things that might be considered that, but she took every advantage to make me look bad. And you didn’t see what the real situation was. There were many snippets she took at me that weren’t shown…out of nowhere. And I couldn’t understand it. I hadn’t treated her bad. There are men that don’t like women and there are women that don’t like men. And my conclusion was she doesn’t like men. She needs men, and she needs them for certain things. But I think she’s a girl who’s probably abusive toward men, and she was certainly abusive toward me. Holmes: It was touching getting to see you and your wife together at the reward challenge. Is it accurate to say that one of your main goals was lasting long enough in the game so she could visit? Smith: Yeah. I wanted that so much. We’re a romantic couple. We have a map, and we want to set foot on the same soil wherever we are as a testimony to our soulmatedness. And we put a little pin wherever we are in the places we’ve been all over the world. And I wanted so much for her to get to set foot with me on that island. (Laughs) So we got to put our little pin on the map. I did not know how hurtful I felt not being near her, because we’ve never been separated. We’re together day and night, 24/7 for some thirty years. So, it was a poignant moment to realize that I’m addicted to her more than I realized. Holmes: That’s amazing. Probably less important…did you ever get the shocks for your jeep? Smith: (Laughs) The irony of this is that my wife knew I needed shocks and I was being so frugal that I hadn’t bought them for six or eight months hoping it would last. While he managed to make it past the merge and outlast all of his male tribemates, the 46-year-old plastic surgeon struggled to plead his case with alliance members Alicia and Christina, who failed to see the advantage of keeping him around. Instead, Tarzan was sent packing during Wednesday night's broadcast, but not before letting out his signature jungle call. Tarzan spoke with reporters on Thursday about his experience in the game - and also cleared up rumors about the "poopy pants" situation... Can you talk about your strategy to help the girls rather than the guys? What made you go in that direction? "No-one realized that at one point, Troyzan and I had joined as a nucleus and an atom, metaphorically speaking, and we brought along with us Jonas, Leif and Colton. Colton was our foil but basically, I was out of the plot. When I was with the guys, I could keep them together and I even changed Alicia so she would vote out Monica. But when we united to the Tikiano tribe, I realized that I no longer had Troyzan for certain. He was wavering with the Salani girls and he wasn't solid anymore, which I didn't expect. I already knew that Jay and Mike weren't solid. "With regard to what you have to do to strategize in a chess game, Leif and Jonas didn't play very well. They were wishy-washy and you had to keep reminding them and they'd forget, which was scary. They weren't playing the game very well at that point. Their compass had been lost, probably because of pheromonal influences of the females. I told Alicia that if I could get the guys back together and her, it would be seven against five. We promised - and I felt like you should keep your word unless you're betrayed. If we went down to the top five, it would have been a good shot for her. When I was betrayed by the boys and couldn't get them together, I had to go back to Alicia and say, if I can't promise you a coterie of guys - which is the only way that could be efficacious for her - I'm going to ingratiate myself to you because it's the only way I could stay. If I wanted a chance of seeing my wife on the sands of that island, I had to ingratiate myself to the girls and be scatter-brained, so that's what I did." What has the reaction been to your appearance on the show? "Basically, I'm sort of... I've measured my friends all my life very carefully. The friends I have know me really well and of course, their response is going to be sincerely highly positive, but I understand that they have to edit the show and do a number of things. My little chicken trap caught six chickens. I devised that trap but got no credit. I saved the pig but Kim got the credit. I combed Sabrina's hair, Jay's hair, even my own hair, but got no credit for making the comb. When people wanted to know what I was doing carving on a piece of bamboo all day, that's what I was doing, making a comb. I was a water boy - I got the water and boiled it to make sure it wasn't parasitic. "There were a few denigrating moments with regard to being accused of poopy panties and things of that sort which, if you knew the whole story, was really unfair. To defend myself well enough to be understood would have caused anger amongst those who were trying to denigrate me, so it was in my best interest to let them do so. I also made sure not to take myself too seriously and also convinced the tribe that I'm really not as smart as I might be." Did Colton's early exit negatively affect your game? "Colton is very bright. The females didn't like him and the males hated him but I felt sorry for him. Being a doctor, I tend to - I helped a couple of people with physical ailments during this thing when I was asked to and no-one else was around. I had a six-inch laceration down to the tibia on my left leg that took 20 days to heal and I don't think anyone knows that! Anyway, I made Colton feel way better and told him, 'Listen, you can run reconnaissance on the girls and you can enter the coterie of the five of us, it helps us against the girls', which at that point in time, I believed I knew what that was. He listened to me, he wasn't threatened and he joined us. "I didn't get to examine him but he was dehydrated. He hadn't eaten well or pooped much - on an island like that, it's most likely not from parasites or Crohn's disease but most likely proliferation of bacteria held in gas, which will spread to the spleen or other flesh, causing some significant pain. If I had a chance to remedy that... I'm a surgeon of 30-some years, a surgeon and plastic surgeon. If I had just been able to examine him, I might have been clever enough to say, 'We gotta give you a lot of water'. Maybe I could have saved him. I needed him! I guess the production staff realized that if Colton went, it would be six to six and the game would start anew. Had Colton stayed in the coterie of five, the game we would have ended up with would have been very boring. It was going that way and possibly, had they not joined us that early, we may have entered that not six to twelve, but seven to five." Did you feel misunderstood amongst your fellow players? "One of my wife's favorite programs is The Big Bang Theory - you know who Sheldon is? If you say something's too over someone's head... like, I know thermal dynamics and I was trying to explain to them. Every morning we woke up with chills and I wanted to regulate the heat better when we built our new facility but no-one understood what I was saying, so we built like we were on a different island that wasn't cold. We were freezing to death at night, which was odd because I didn't think, sub-equatorial, that it would be cold. "I made a chicken trap. No-one understood and it caught six chickens. I wanted to make a rain barrier that no-one would help me with because they didn't understand since they hadn't been rained on yet. They watched me make it before they realized what I was doing. You'd think someone would think about the insects - I'm an amateur entomologist and have caught rare breeds of rhinoceros beetles. Instead of appreciating God's creatures, they didn't understand what that meant. "In my heart, I knew that no matter what I said, it'd go over their heads. I suppose I got angry because of their stupidity, so I threw my shorts in [the pot over the fire that day], you know. I have saved plenty of lives and know how to take care of parasites in water. Instead, we sat there and wasted our drinking water - which is important to prevent kidney failure. I was the one who carried the water and it was two blocks there and back. Seeing Chelsea usurp my water that day with the shorts and cameras there to see her denigrate me, and then Sabrina helping her... How dare Chelsea do that to me. But I also knew that if I argued too vociferously, I would have been out at the next Tribal Council." Do you think you could have spoken differently to connect more with your fellow players? "Sometimes, though I try not to do it too much. But golly, I'm 64 years old, and I am a doctor. I spent 16 years in training and I have some vocabulary. I have some physics, some chemistry, so if something comes up when they know something I'm saying is going to help them - and by God, it's not as if I didn't explain the dynamics in a way they could understand! I might have started talking about it at a higher level, but I dropped it down in ways that they could understand. That's frustrating!" Did you underestimate the women's ability in the game to outsmart you? "No, I didn't underestimate them at all. I underestimated the men - it was a matter of the men, by their youth and their pheromones, being dumb. What they needed to do was stick together. The reality is I was betrayed when we became Tikiano. It was six to six and if they had just realized the rationale of what we were trying to do, it would have gone a different way. Once you lose the queen in a chess game too early, you realize you're in deep doo doo. It's a poopy situation. At that point, I thought, 'Uh oh, I'm going to have to ingratiate myself with the women because the guys are being... not wise'. If I wanted to last long enough for my wife to get to that island, I had to help the girls get rid of the guys. And I kept my promise. I would have kept my promise with the guys if at that point they realized that they should rejoin as a coterie with Alicia." Why were you the last remaining man in the competition? "I'd like to think it was because of my acumen when it came to female nature. I do understand women. All my life, I've cared more about women than men and I've always wanted to make women the best they can possibly be. I love women in an avuncular way. I want them to be the best they can possibly be and that's why I became a plastic surgeon, because at least I can help their physical bodies, which, in a world that is primarily sexual, helps them significantly if they have a good plastic surgeon. That's what I would hope was the reason, but the real reason is that I do think they sensed the sincerity and they empathised with the romantic idea of being able to embrace my wife on the sands of Samoa. "They may not have thought that deep, but maybe it was part of that. I hope and I thought - and I still think - that they said, 'You know what, we thrashed all the guys, there's only one guy left so let's let Tarzan see his wife'. If that's true, and it may not be, I totally appreciated that. I should have gone next but they took out Kat and again I thought, maybe it was strategy because they thought I was a fool and no threat. If you watched a thousand Survivors, amazingly the fools and the no threats last the longest, so I kind of played that game. Sabrina played that game, too - I don't think she won anything, either, except food. And yet she wasn't seen as much of a threat other than that they knew she was clever and she was certainly a thorn in my side, trying to make me look bad at every opportunity. I was aware of that and tried to keep it at bay." What was the most frustrating part about playing the game? "I had a couple of disappointments. I kept my allegiance to Alicia ever since the Manono tribe. She even said I was like a father and she was like a daughter. I truly liked her and believed she could go as far as possible. I was in her court, but as you saw, Kim lied to her and I think Sabrina lied to her. Alicia knew that in order to fake the team members that you don't want to last, you have to say similar things. The difference is, the people who want to last need to trust that you mean what you're saying to them but want to fake the other ones out. "Kim told Alicia that she's going to be Tarzaned like there was some plan to get rid of Alicia. She'd done the same thing when she told Troy that Jay was after him to get him out, which was also a lie. At that stage, had I been sitting there with Kim telling me that Alicia wanted me out, but I had been with her all those days and kept my word - which is confirmed at Tribal Council - I wouldn't have believed it. Alicia was faked out and I was hurt by that. I was also hurt by Troyzan falling prey to the so-called Salani allegiance, 'cos he had not done that in the middle of the game."

If he's not throwing his catch phrase around tribal council ("The game is afoot, Jeff."), he's knocking Troyzan out of an immunity challenge, or wearing Kat's underwear on his head, or trying to form a solid final three alliance, and so on. On last night's episode, the women banded together one last time to get rid of the last man in the game and today, we talked to Tarzan in an exclusive interview to dig a little deeper into learning whether he's the real deal, or whether we've all been Tarzaned. Q. Gina, RealityWanted: What made you want to try out for and compete on Survivor? A. Tarzan: I've been a fan of the show and in reality, I can prove that I am an adventurer. With my life, I'm romantic. However, on the show, I didn't portray that. My wife and I are soulmates and that wouldn't be proper. I love adventures and I sought another one. I'm a guy that goes to a number of jungles. This seemed to be right down my alley. Q. Gina, RealityWanted: How do you feel about the fact that there's now an expression about you, "I've been Tarzaned!"? A. Tarzan: Well see, they don't know the half of it! I was subliminal on purpose. The producers are real intelligent and very knowledgeable. They warned me, "If you're too old, if you're a doctor, if you're smart, you're gone." It's very important to be the captain and be confident enough in my life. In this game, if I'm the captain, I'm out. In reality, it wasn't Colton. I was so subliminal, they couldn't tell that I was plotting. For 36 days, people were Tarzaned. I think the producers were slightly Tarzaned, too! I didn't wanna reveal everything to everyone! I'm flattered by that. Q. Gina, RealityWanted: They portrayed you as sort of a wacky character on the show. I was wondering if that was real... A. Tarzan: Even though I'm a surgeon, that doesn't mean I can't be an actor. Q. Gina, RealityWanted: You stuck with the women after the merge. What made you decide to go with them instead of say, Jay and Troyzan? A. Tarzan: Well, the reality is... Troyzan and I formed a nucleus of an atom and bonded at the hip. We had many talks and similar interests. We brought in Jonas and Leif, and needed a fifth. Everybody didn't like Colton and he was ideal. He could run reconnaissance so we knew what the women were doing. I used to be a real man when I was young, but I'm 64! I could've beat any of them if I was a kid but the reality is, I was one of the weak ones. I used Colton as a shield. I was in the shadows and he advanced forward. Even Alicia didn't realize it wasn't him. It was me. At that point, when we joined... I discovered Troyzan was confused! We were no longer the nucleus. He was being separated because of the women. I realize I've lost my queen, if this is a chess game. I decided to ingratiate myself. Jay Bird never quite caught on, Leif and Jonas were too wishy washy. I tried to plan it eight or nine moves down the road and they were always a bit confused. If they're not smart enough to figure that out, someone can influence them. So I decided to join the girls and I kept my promise to help get rid of the guys. It was my ring toss that ultimately helped get rid of Troyzan. Q. Gina, RealityWanted: It came down to you and Chelsea last night. How did it end up being you? A. Tarzan: Well, the reality is that Alicia had regarded me as a father figure. She should've trusted me. Kim, once before, had tried to maneuver with Jay Bird that Troyzan was going to try to vote him out. She tries the same maneuver on Alicia. It is true that I said similar things to a few different girls but you try to throw the scent off and you don't mean them. People who trust you know you don't mean it. There's Kim laughing, "Oh Tarzan said the same thing to me!" and Alicia bought it. Intelligently, Sabrina seconded it just as she seconded some other things against me, to denigrate me. When I talked to Alicia, I was hoping that she would see, "Hey, Tarzan has been at my side. He's not betrayed me, he treats me like a daughter. I trust him." No! I didn't get any credit! During tribal council, I told the girls, "Look if you're worried about the guys voting for me, I'll tell them I helped get rid of them." I did that and I also told them I was a millionaire. I had no interest in making it to the top three anyway. I didn't ever think I'd make it that far. I wanted a couple of those girls to make it to the end because there were girls I genuinely liked and were friends of mine. By the way, Alicia has a far better personality than portrayed.

The guys were voting for me. If I were to have made it to the end, I would have probably won.... They were actually really upset with Kim, because she was blindsiding everybody, and if I took Alicia to the final three, I mean, who was going to vote for Alicia? Ultimately I made everybody really happy. I was really sweet, I played a great game, I had a lot of heart, and the fact that I was able to do those things, I thought I was actually going to be a great winner. via cbs.com And your final three, you would have taken Kim and Alicia with you? Christina and Alicia was going to be my best choice to pick to come to the final three with me. But I didn't want Kim to go with me, but I didn't mind sitting next to her. Because everyone hates her, and you might have had a shot with her, because I'd rather have her protect me all the way to the final three and have my back than be against me. So ultimately Kim was my best ally. Who do you think should win out of the people that are left? I think Chelsea, Sabrina, and Kim would be fantastic as winners. They're individually strong in their own way. Kim is a phenomenal Survivor player, and Chelsea, she's like a hero of mine, she has a fantastic heart, and Sabrina is wonderful with PR and communication. And I have a feeling she'll do great things one day with the million dollars. What do you think your chances are of winning fan favorite? That's all I want to do is win fan favorite. I think that I was actually really sweet and really charming. And I really played the game with a lot of heart, and I think I have a great chance of winning the fan favorite. In your exit interview you had begged Jeff Probst to let you come back. Why did you want to go back to the show so badly? I honestly think I have unfinished business there. Survivor is one of the greatest games I've ever played and I felt like it was kinda stolen from me. I felt like I had a lot more to give. So if I had a second chance obviously, I'd be a lot more strategic, and a little more cold in that sense, but I'd still be very funny and humorous, so kind of under the radar, but a really good player with making better decisions. This time around I'd be making better decisions as opposed to just be a good player. What you're doing now? Right now I'm actually trying to get back into real estate. I want to work for a company that sells time share and sell real estate and beautiful property. I'm graduating UCF, it's my last semester. Congratulations! Thank you. And I'm really looking forward to doing a lot of things, a lot of like fitness stuff, and a lot of challenges, and just in general. And I'm really fired up to do a lot of things, especially to help people. I kind of want to be a promotional speaker, just because people might think that you're silly and that you're dumb, I think it's just having a good attitude about life. And maybe just promoting that sense for the good of people. I understand you spend a lot of time in Miami. What's your favorite thing to do down here? I'm a huge Canes fan. I bleed orange and green. So I love the football games, I love to go there and go on the boat and, like, you know, I do a lot of charity work down there too. So Miami is probably one of my favorite places to be. I feel like I should be living there, but unfortunately I don't have the money to go to UM, so I would transfer in a heartbeat if I could, but I can't afford it. And now that you're graduating, are you considering moving down south to Miami? Yes. I would love to be in a big city, and I really love Miami. Anything else you wanted to tell your Miami fans? I wanted to set the record clear with a few people, I did have open-heart surgery, and I will be having it again. However, I wanted to make sure everybody understands that to be on Survivor, you cannot have an illness... I've been checked out and I am very healthy. Yes, do I have to do it again, of course I do. But I'm really looking forward to working with my charities, and making sure that I'm healthy, and I really love the support and thank them all very much. And they can vote for me for fan favorite, I would really appreciate it.
