I knew Ozzy was toast when he got the frog jumping off the rock edit...that was the image they used for Matt Elrod at the end. Anyway, you should be happy. There were no rats around Alicia. :)

Posts: 9643 02/16/12 05:17 AM Reply Quote More Recent Posts	Plus, the dreaded fly landed on Cochran's face twice before he got shafted. :) This year, perhaps even more significant than the rat is the image of the bat, either sleeping, spreading its wings or flying -- shown 3 separate times in less than 15 minutes, all associated with Salani. Bats are not a negative sign in Eastern mythology -- they represent rebirth and good luck. You could argue by this first episode that Salani is going to have a very difficult beginning but that one of the women will triumph in the end. The player who got the bat-in-flight clip was Alicia. But if you don't believe in bats, Chelsea was shown holding two soon-to-be dead chickens, so who knows how that imagery may turn out. lol

Cochran even referred to himself as a hermit crab. As for the fly landing on Kat...well, that is a sure sign she is doomed.

Last season the fly claimed 5 victims (all male) - Coach, Ozzy, Cochran, Brandon and Rick. If Mariano Man was right about his "Lord of the Flies" theory then you had a female winner (Sophie) taking out the men. Maybe the S24 fly will be focusing on the women, and if so, does that mean the winner is a male?

MM predicted the downfall of Cochran based on the fly hitting him twice last season. I really do believe the editors have fun with the fly bit because the fly is rarely wrong. lol

That signified Edna going for a ride with Coach, but lost when the power players were left
