Chelsea is associated with chickens. Troy is probably the Sea Turtle or he could be a whale, as you pointed out. It's just chance, I guess, that Jay is nicknamed "Jaybird" because a jaybird in the South means an often likeable, sometimes cunning, always self-serving jerk. :)

Last week the hermit crab was shown following Troy...perhaps a foreshadowing of his disastrous ep tonight. Tonight, the hermit crab was shown in connection with Chelsea. Not great for her future. For the first time, the legendary black salamander was seen in the show, directly before Jay. The salamander is a cold-blooded, nocturnal creature associated with fire, renewal and comebacks. A salamander can lose a limb and re-grow one as if by magic. Jay was the fire-starter this season and it is appropriate the salamander is now being connected to him. Jay is not going anywhere anytime soon.

I think Jay will lead a rebellion to get a girl out next week but I doubt it's one of the three main girls. Chelsea had a bad ep tonight, granted, but I don't think she's the one to go. IMO, Christina's streak of good luck is about to end because she is expendable to Kim and her boot will appease Jay for the time being.

Tonight the hermit crab appeared right before Jay and Troy's talk and that was a sign that one of them was definitely going to jury. I think Troy is now set to get the boot very soon.

I thought that was a very negative and creepy way to portray the women on the tribe. It looks bad for the scorpion (obviously Troy) at this stage of the game -- but scorpions are very powerful and don't kill easily. If Troy is now the scorpion in the tale, he could make a comeback against all odds.

And this ep's pig -- saved by KIM -- is most likely trained to sniff idols out and who do you think he will be grateful to? lol As for the meaning of the pig...pigs are signs of fertility, luck and prosperity -- as if Kim needs any more positive imagery to foreshadow her inevitable win.

Posts: 9621 04/26/12 05:13 AM Reply Quote More Recent Posts	Well, they specifically made a point of showing Kim say "I'm not killing that pig" (while everyone else was screaming "Christina, Get The Axe!" a la "Mommie Dearest") and then suggesting they keep it as a pet. Later on, they showed the pig again, happy and content at the campsite. lol That seemingly random shot of the pig at the camp was more than comic relief -- the quick clip humanized the pig and made audiences happy he was alive. That is a very clear manipulation by editors to showcase Kim as its savior. So...that is a roundabout way of saying Kim is NOT the scorpion.

Why, you ask? Because Sabrina is the pizza, 7-Up, cooked food, nachos and margaritas loving pig of the tribe. I know what you're thinking. BuBo, why would Sabrina be so excited to eat herself? Well, don't forget that in Episode 2, Sabrina hinted that the women would benefit from acting more like men, and we all know most guys would fellate themselves if possible. There's a reason people call her Ms. Thompson and you can ask Janet Jackson why.

As for the winner...telegraphed to us from nearly the beginning. It truly was the Season of the Bat (Salani) and Kim was the Bat Queen. Congrats to Kim and thanks to all who participated in this thread. :)
