I recorded all of China on 3 separate VHS tapes. I didn't have high speed at the time, so hey I figured I may as well tape them so I could watch them
later.

I'd rather have official DVD's tbh. From past experience, VHS stops working after a while and have to be thrown away. Plus the bootleg DVD's
I've bought before are decent, but some have storm warnings and the first few minutes cut off sometimes. Also, I enjoy wathcing the special features and
listening to the commentaries and the episodes are perfect quality. The bootlegs are fine for now, I'd rather have all seasons than not, but once the
official ones are released, they become pretty much useless.

I download all episodes and it's really fast to get them so I can always watch in an instant, but I would prefer official DVDs also

Not sure if this is good news or it might be no news...but it seems that: "CBS DVD "now retains creative oversight over series from former
sibling Paramount Television, including Beverly Hills 90210 and Twin Peaks, and Showtime, home of Dexter and The L Word...(and d)espite Viacom and CBS
now being separate companies, Viacom's Paramount Home Entertainment and CBS DVD work together, with Paramount handling sales and distribution and the two
companies sharing marketing duties."
and "CBS DVD intends to release 13-18% more TV-DVD titles in 2008 - roughly 105-110 planned releases - as compared to their 2007 slate." Could mean good news for Survivor fans, could mean nothing at all. But maybe if CBS DVD takes over series and they plan to release more then they did in 2007 that perhaps we might get something. http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/news/CSI-HDDVD-Plans/8733 |

Thanks for the news, ptcruisn. That's really getting my hopes up ~ I still haven't seen the Survivor Africa finale! I would love if Africa was released
on DVD.

Sounds like it could mean a season release this year. Hopefully we get at least one of the old classics.

People can bash Cook Islands all they want, but when it comes out on dvd with Jonathan doing commentary, you bet your ass they'll buy it.

They will probably do China, since it seemed to go over really well with the viewers.

And there's probably someone, somewhere out there who thinks that'd be the best commentary team ever.
