After Vanuatu was released on DVD, there seems to have been a stem in the flow of Survivor on DVD...not to mention Amazing Race. I've heard from reliable sources at www.tvshowsondvd.com that CBS has no plans to release any more...this makes me mad as surely Marquesas, Africa, Vanuatu, Guatemala etc should have come before Vanuatu!! I'm hoping you guys know more or have heard a rumour.. A while back I had heard that Amazon was next in line and that sounds about right, but that was at least 8 months ago... Surely they'll be putting them all out on DVD....SURELY!!!

Until CBS lets them know, they have no idea what'll be released or not released. So...I smell a sprinkle of bullshit. There's still not reason to panic guys. We waited a year after Australia, so it's safe to say they still may come at some point.

We gotta keep some faith people

Posts: 4617 (05/10/07 6:45 PM) Registered user Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	It makes sense, it is a drag but it is what I've been thinking for some time now...maybe...and this is a very slim chance...that All Stars 2 might start a sort of mini comeback for those few months..maybe get a cover on entertainment weekly or at least tv guide...and then maybe release a season or so on dvd... And I would hope that they continue to put them out sometime down the line, some obscure tv shows are put onto dvd...why they would stop beats me...

I know it doesn't sound like much, but doing it for a show that's already had six (complete season) releases, it should say something. Maybe we could all write multiple times with different return addresses... Something to think about.

I agree though, they've been releasing so many obscure shows these last couple of years. Survivor is still very widely known and fairly popular. I think we'll get another pile of them yet but I wouldn't be surprised in the least if we never get the old seasons. And it definitely pisses me off.I don't care if they have commentary or anything but the episodes, for that matter. I just want them...all...

If I got a proper address, who would commit to sending a letter in? Now I know we don't have massive numbers, but in dealing with a show that's already had this many releases, I don't think we need hundreds of thousands of letters. We do, however, need to get as many as possible. Let's set the first goal at 100. I'll volunteer for three myself (by also doing the work for a couple of others off this board).
