Its just offensive to imply that a women, who is comfortable in her own skin and performs and dresses in a certain manner slept her way to the top. Even if you don't like her singing, I don't see how there's anything to suggest she slept her way to a record deal or whatever it is you meant. Just asking, what did you actually mean if that's not what you said?

BLOND GIRL WITH A QUIRKY VOICE. (Let's face it, they're not deep thinkers). The difference is that Elise is older, and THEY PROBABLY DON"T SEE HER AS PRETTY AS HALEY (because she's not as pretty as Haley, in a conventional sense). Also, CLEARLY ELISE IS NOT SLEEPING WITH ANYONE AT THE LABEL BECAUSE HER ATTITUDE on the show and toward Iovine and the others is a little bit snotty, which it would not be if she was schmoozing them up. Now, schmoozing up someone at the label IS something that Haley did -- maybe because she's just a nice girl and loves people and puppies and Iovines. Regardless of HER MOTIVES, THEY SURELY SAW HER as someone cute and perky and someone they'd love to sign on their label JUST LIKE PIA, who also may just love people and puppies and Iovines, but who ALSO schmoozed up them up to get them to believe she was worth their while to sign, just like Haley. <-- This, as opposed to and in contrast to Elise, who clearly isn't a scmoozy kind of gal. Is that better for you? Either way, the label is more likely to sign a Pia or a Haley, who act sexy and cute than someone like Elise who has a different approach. Either way, bottom line, Elise is screwed. jmo. Take it or leave it.

I just don't think its appropriate to imply that a 19 year old girl had sex with someone to get to the top, without any evidence. Haley definitely had a better personality than Elise. I also agree, there's no way Elise gets a record deal out of this. At this point though, I think she's okay with that. She seems like she realizes that this whole thing isn't really for her, she's much better suited to being an indie artist and doing her own thing imo.

So get your facts straight before you accuse me of doing anything. Its killer. I can't wait to hear some of her original music. She's not going to get a major label deal out of this, but I do hope she puts out some stuff independently and is able to continue doing music. Sucks that her attitude got in the way. Not saying anything about anyone else though! ahem, lol) I posted this in another thread, but its probably more appropriate here: The bonding between Hollie and Elise reminds me when Ryan had a couple of Elise's students come up on stage. (I think they were her students. They were clearly younger than her). Elise may just be a natural teacher to the young'uns. She's probably a really nice person. Its just the AI BS got to her, and who can blame her for that? Not me!

Those girls really did seem to love her too. This experience, in particular now in the post-Simon, 3 stooges era with Randy, J-Lo and Steven could make anybody bitter and crazy. They're assholes, and not helpful. This just wasn't her scene. She probably is a perfectly nice person. Can't really blame her for being bitchy about an asshat like Randy or J-Lo.
