Be aware: the spoiler picture is starting to take shape. Also, you should know that S26 has been heavily spoiled, as well. There are sources identifying a jury and even finalists. So if you want to avoid Spoilers at all costs, you will probably need to read Sucks carefully. As in, maaayyybe don't even bother coming? If this stuff ends up being legit, such a long lag between now and when these shows air leaves a LOOOT of time for trolls to start announcing things left and right. If you thought the spoiler paranoia was bad this season, just wait! Goes without saying that I'm out of the participant pool for quite a while. I'll be happy to play spoiler forum lookout if you need me. I think my son will let me handle a job like that even after he gets here.

Regardless, anyone who tries to post winner spec this time after having posted in the Future thread for these spoilers will be clearly identified as an asshole.

There is a core of players who will not be reading in spoiled threads. They'll be here. I'd prefer no spoilers and lots of participation, but don't mind taking Edgic to 50-page old school.

It's a no-win proposition - if you get it wrong, then edgic is a failure. If you get it right, it's because you read spoilers. There will be so many casuals and ghostnics doing drive-by "Player X is clearly getting the winner's edit, you morons!" posts. This thread is going to be a clusterfuck of epic proportions.

Because last season there were lots of accusation that "Blank is reading spoilers" but the problem is that Edgic participants can't actually know if they are or not without being spoiled themselves.

Unfortunately, you guys are screwed insofar that there are people who: 1. Want to be an asshat and post spoilers in here blatantly 2. Want to look like they have some speculation insight by posting their "spec" when they really read the spoilers cause they can say "I picked so and so right from the beginning" 3. Are morons for posting in spoilers and spec in here like their spec isn't influenced by the spoilers. I've only seen one site where the posters seems courteous enough to respect the thread creator and try their best to refrain from allowing their spoiler reading to influence their posts by either not posting or at least post something insightful and cohesive enough to give their post some "editing stance." No drive by spoilers are posted either which again are probably twofold, respect for the thread starter who everyone knows is unspoiled and/or different site and much different posters (which of course makes Sucks.... Sucks!)
