Her Mercy performance was cute, and If I Were A Boy was actually good, but I Want It That Way was horrendous, and I Have Nothing was embarrassing. Simon needs to realize she's not Whitney/Mariah and give her songs that will focus more on her performance skills than her singing.

Right now I recorded the show and fast forward the segment she is on. But it is not enough. Seeing her even just a few seconds still makes me vomit. The only one I want to vote is the country music dad. Since he is not even on the top 17, I have no regret stopping watching now.

As someone who works with this age group, I breathe a sigh of relief when they actually act dorky and young. I'd much rather see them acting a bit childish as a young teen than trying to grow up too fast.

The problem with Rachel is that I could see her easily working in a sort of Disney Channel mold, but X-Factor just seems like a really, really awkward fit for her now that we're past the auditions. This isn't America's Got Talent, and I definitely think she'll be the first of the girls out of the competition.

I even felt sorry for Tiah, whom I dislike immensely. The only act I really see as Disney Channel, to be honest, is InTENsity. Brewer Boys are not the kind of music tweens listen to, as much as some might have vibed with the older bro; and Rachel is too much of a powerhouse, methinks. The Nick/Disney kids tend to have cutesy singing voices, singing small rather than belting.
