You know, there are a few things nobody ever specifies that I would think would get really annoying for you all (at least, they would for me if someone was making my avatar).

First of all, avatars at Sucks can be as large as 100x100 pixels. However, using frame captures from media files of Survivor episodes, the avatars I make are going to have different proportions. Usually I just use the proportions of the frames so that nothing is stretched or cut. But just so you guys are aware, it's easy to either stretch the avatar to fit the 100x100 pixel size (stretching the avatar) or to cut off the edges to fit the 100x100 pixel size (removing some of the width of the avatar, but not stretching it). Personally, I kind of like leaving the full frame captures on my avatars, but you do have the option of stretching/cutting them to get the 100x100 pixel size.
Just note that increasing the length and width of the avatar increases the file size by about a third. So when you're dealing with an already large avatar, expanding the image to fit the 100x100 pixel size can up the file size higher than you may want.
A third option, and the one I utilize for requests like MultiGeminii's and other posters who want an image spliced into their animation, is to surround the avatar with a black border on the top and bottom, much like on a widescreen film. This doesn't increase the file size much at all, and also takes up the entire 100x100 pixel area without altering the image quality or cutting out pieces of the frames.

And speaking of file size, I'll make whatever size avatar you want, but if you don't specify, I'm going to try to keep it to a reasonable size out of respect for everyone that has to wait for your avatar to load. If you want it to be a large file, make sure you are aware of how it might slow down other posters, and then request it. Otherwise, I'm going to keep it small enough that it shouldn't bother the Sucks community.

Also, most of these avatars consist of intros, but rarely do people actually specify what part of the intro shot they want. I don't grab the entire intros because that would make the file sizes several times larger, but if you want a specific part, just ask, so I know which part to grab. If you don't specify, I generally just use the action shot and leave the close-up out, but you may not want that, so feel free to be more specific.

By the way, there are a lot of popular Survivors (Fairplay, especially) that really need to get a better intro in Micronesia, because the one I have to use all the time currently sucks.
