I could not find the remote and ended up watching an episode of this. Can someone explain to me what she uses a 1980's tape recorder to record the session? She can talk to spirits, but can't buy electronics post 1989? And where does she get the tapes from ?

On last week's first episode, she hired an assistant. After she hired him, she told him to ask the diner around if anybody lost a parent. That useless homo did not do anything. And the following episode, he was not even in the picture. What happened to him?

They are always following her with cameras to the diner, the dry cleaner, the yogurt store, the dress shop, the roller rink- where she always gets a sense that there is someone there that has a loved one departed. This is PHONY- they hired actors to sit in the shops and play along. When she goes to someone's house of course she read the news about how the loved one passed. What is depressing is the guy who died of egg allergy on pizza and the baby who strangled in a stroller and the girl who starved herself to death and the lady who didn't save her husband on the boat. What a bunch oif losers they didn't save their loved ones.

Ironic that the more science rationally explains, and confirms by repeated testing, the way the surrounding world and universe are constructed and behave, the more average people seem to embrace "magical thinking" entailed in the psychic arts (witchcraft, telekensis, hauntings, communication with the dead, etc.) and the other nonsense like biblical and Mayan apocolypse predictions.

Perhaps magical thinking gives them solace and comfort in the face of the harshly unmagical and amoral true nature of things. But when we die, our circulatory systems and brains cease functioning, we stop thinking and perceiving, and thereby cease to exist. We don't get transported to some magical dimension where we join dead friends and relatives who apparently do nothing but hang around and observe their living kin and wait for some loudmouthed medium to barge in and make a spiritual circuit connection for us.

Waiting for Theresa to collect her one million dollar pyschic reward from James Randi for proving she talks to the dead. She could use it to remodel the house, get a makeover, and lose the annoying accent.

I saw this bitch on Anderson Cooper. There were about 300-400 people in the audience "Who lost a son?" then she says How does the number 18 fit in? 18 years 18 months 18th of january? nobody says anything she is in near about 40 people waiting for one of them to pipe up but no one did. Of course someone in the audience lost a son, and a daughter and a father and a mother! did someone pass from the chest? Who passed from the chest? Who is that were you talking before the show?

But what I really HATE is once she finds out how the person died and how the surviving relative feels she goes into this rehearsed Schtick that is nauseating - he is telling me right now that he doesn't want you to have any guilt, he is saying that there is nothing you could have done- he is telling me right now you need to heal! Know that he is with you all the time and he doesnt want you to feel bad" - that the schtick --it's terrible! She is good at it though all the BS just comes FLYING out of her mouth, I don' t know how she does it, it is quite a talent.

Aside from asking questions that could apply to almost anyone "has anybody lost a loved one?", there are other things that bug. Why aren't the spirits ever mean, like some of them probably were IRL? And it's suspicious that so many satisfied customers have some kind of business to promote. At first, I thought it was really presumptuous of her to go up to random strangers and talk about death. But hey, nowadays, everyone has something or other to push -- grifter nation.

Here is proof that she is a fraud: when the person isn't sure how their loved one died she always tells them it wasn't a suicide. But if she was talking to the dead person, why doesn't he TELL her HOW he died? Which is what every one wants to know? Last night the guy died driving road and hit a tree so they suspect suicide because there wasn't another car. She says your friend said he didn't kill himself and I'm seeing a symbol showing me he veered off the road to get out of the way of something or else he fell asleep. Why don't you ask him which one?

Same with the lady who wants to know who shot her brother. Her brother speaks to this fraud and says "tell my sister to stop investigating my death" but doesn't tell her who did it?

She makes up SO MUCH CRAP!!! It must be a great paycheck.

You can do very well telling people what they want to hear. But as reality TV it kind of sucks, there's no conflict or tension. TV people consistently think that they can give an edge to a boring premise with a NY accent. Larry King for example.

Gullible people hear what they want/need to hear.Was switching channels and caught this "psychic" on Ricki Lake show. Omg I think she's worse than LIM. The part I saw is not in this clip but this one's a joke too. Is it a ja or Ji or Jo? Did he throw a bra over the boat? No he threw me. Ya that's close enough. Ugh! Why can't people see that they are giving the answers to her? Can someone tell me one thing this broad told them that was right? Oh yes she said is this your mom? Of course seeing a younger couple standing next to an old lady who's nodding her head�told me the same thing.

What about at the driving school when she said "who lost a sister or a best friend?" If she saw a female why wouldn't she say "Who lost a sister or a daughter or a mother or a friend?" why specifically sister or best friend? If the dead person is saying "sister" then why bother saying "or a best friend"-- this proves to me that she got all that info beforehand about the dead best friend or she would have said "Who lost a female relative or female friend?" she wanted to say "your friend was like a sister to you" because that is a very emotionally charged thing to say to a grieving person.

There is only one person who I ever thought who see things. She didn't charge people but worked with law enforcement when asked. She was remarkable and she didn't need any hints to do it.She usually just had a pice of evidence. She passed away at least 10 years ago-little dark haired woman with glasses. She solved a few crime sin her time. Wish I could remember her name.

The woman with the long dark hair in my video looks so familar. I don't know why. Does anyone else recognize her from somewhere?
