I got teary-eyed over Bieste and hope she leaves her asshole husband. Kurt killed NTBND and I liked Shake it Out, but I haven't heard the original. Funnily enough, I thought the one criticism you-know-who couldn't make tonight was that she screamed her song. Should have known better. He's just bitter that Blaine didn't have three songs. All in all, I thought it was possibly the best episode this season.

Posts: 1044 05/01/12 09:26 PM Registered user Reply Quote More Recent Posts	That episode was so all over the place between Seasons 1 and 2 writing, I thought it ended up in a really entertaining mess. The first three or four minutes seemed a lot like Season 1 material, AKA driven Rachel. But then they bring in the after-school special about domestic abuse and I realized that we can never go back to before. The Puck storyline was by far the weirdest. Since when are all these guys friends? Why is Rory suddenly there again? Why is Finn saying, "No man gets left behind" when him, Puck, and Mike are the only ones graduating? Did they really have to make it European Geography to put "The Rain in Spain" in the show? Why did they basically take a plotline you would see on a filler episode of Saved By the Bell? And wouldn't Finn have a little more sense than to push Artie in a pool? It's pretty lame how much I wanted Rachel to fail and was elated when she did. This season has just showed Kurt to be the more levelheaded one (with the exception of the West Side Story stuff) in comparison to Rachel basically turning her life to shit. I thought Kurt did a really nice job on his song, considering how likely it is a boy like him could pull of Peter Allen. Honestly I know they're trying to make us feel bad for Rachel, but seriously, what type of high school senior applies to one school and doesn't even consider any other options? Plus that last number was pretty horrendous; I understand where it came from, but I don't want to watch two minutes of Lea Michele's ugly crying and her over lipsynching her words even more than usual. I thought NeNe actually did an admirable job of handling this materia, despite not being an actress. I see what they were doing with Beiste, but I wonder if this will be one of those things they address at the end of the season, or one of those things they randomly bring up next season, or something they don't mention at all. I would be hugely pissed if I were any of those girls except Santana, considering they didn't even say anything and got in trouble for it. And "Cell Block Tango" was expectedly pretty bad, though it made me want to see Harry Shum, Jr. do Fosse, because that would be pretty incredible.

Kurt, singing in his ever high pitched ear bleeding voice....AGAIN Puck and his old hags... same old, same old...

Please. If I had money I'd personally fund a project for Darren Criss just to get him off Glee so nougat could STFU.

Why hasn't this ignorant POS fantard been banned yet? I thought the episode had its definite highs and lows. I was actually glad to see Rachel fail, but of course it's Glee so she'll get another shot and be in. Just like Quinn getting plowed by a truck, and left without so much as a mark on her (admittedly gorgeous) face, nobody remotely attractive has any real problems in Glee. (Although I personally feel that Lea Michele is a butterface, I can see where some might find her appealing.) Let Bieste get slapped around...and come on, Bieste could've probably kicked Cooter's ass...because she isn't young or pretty. Random storyline with no real punch to it, no pun intended. Bieste has been invisible for weeks, then they have her randomly getting pounded in the face for not doing the dishes? I'd have bought Finn getting more and more annoyed with Rachel, stressed about having no real plan for his future, getting pulled in different directions by his girlfriend, his friend Puck, his teachers and parents trying to tell him what to do, and then snapping and making a move to hit Rachel, maybe punching a locker or something instead. That would have made a more believable story, but then, we can't have Finn do anything that could ruin his fan base. I know it's just TV, and Glee at that...lame musical TV project for Ryan Murphy to fuck around with before totally abandoning it for his next best thing (Nip/Tuck, anyone?), but a little attention to detail could actually make the show better. All it really is now is a place to hear a few tunes I may not have heard before. I tune out Darren Criss (I was sick enough of him before nougat came along; now he's just overwhelmingly annoying.) and everything he sings. I'm only in it anymore for Artie and sometimes Kurt...and to watch Heather Morris dance. Dayum, baby!!

Her parents screen the episodes for content and she is allowed to watch occasionally if there isn't too much in there that they find objectionable. So she'd never see it anyway...but if she did, she's definitely a strong and kind-hearted girl, and she'd hate him for sure.

Naya sounds like she is singing with a bunch of marbles in her mouth inside a bathroom. And I think Naya is a great singer, but singing next to these two, she sounded really odd.
