Nick and Jess are both too neurotic; I'm not sure how the writers are going to work themselves out of the corner they have painted themselves/the characters into. I hope they do it with humor, and not too much angst that would be painful to watch.

Neither is really very likeable. But Jess is annoying because she's too sweet and innocent to take care of herself; Nick is annoying because he's passive, self-pitying and kind of a dick to everyone. Jess seems to be getting better; Nick seems to be getting worse.

Bringing them together would create the world's most pathetic and dysfunctional couple, which might be an interesting psychological study, but it wouldn't be funny. In fact, it would be really sad -- and probably a little frightening.

Scrubs was smart about that matter. They put JD and Elliot together for 2 episodes in the first season and didn't touch it again until season 4 I think.

Out of 9 seasons, the only seasons where JD and Elliot did not sleep together were 4, 5, and 6 lol. I wish they had kept the streak perfect and had them hook up every season

It was 10 years ago so I don't remember it clearly, but I don't remember them actually being in a relationship together.

Schmidt and Winston's 30 seconds of screen time saved that episode. This show is SO uneven. This epi was almost as bad as the Nick's Dad epi.

Nick is such a worthless piece of shit. He went from pathetic to arrogant in 3 seconds. I don't get who he's supposed to be. Is he a depressed narcissist? Is there such a thing? Whatever he is, I hate him. Really hate him. I'm talking Jim-from-The-Office levels of hate.

Highlight of the episode was watching Nick collapse like a bitch from one little punch. I so wanted to see him get thrashed, but I suppose it really isn't worth anyone's time to beat up a worthless loser like Nick.

And what was with Jess' 'prom' dress? Ick. Noone's going to want to kiss her if she wears dresses like that. NOONE!!!

I like Nick. I loved his panic moonwalk, and the flashback panic moonwalk. It was so dumb. I watched the episode twice and laughed a lot. Yes, Turban ON!

There is one part that anoyed the fuck out of me. When Jess was smashing her car into Schmidts. "I'm a cute girl so I have license to do anything I want including damage your property beacuse I don't have to deal with the consequences of my actions". Although annoying it was very true to real life.

I dunno... I like them as nutty people, if there is a scale love > like > dislike > hate then I would grudgingly choose like. This show is interesting because I may never laugh during an episode but I leave with this residue of I just liked watching these people be weird. lol
