Hi pacificsun. Just want to compliment you on the work you've done so far. Everything is well written, well thought-out, and the amount of time and effort you've put into this speaks for itself.

I haven't read it super closely just because I've now been focusing on my own and have other things going on, but I did read this episodes and it is great once again. I think you do an excellent job writing for all of the characters and capturing all of their personalities.

Keep up the awesome work! :)

Some notes on this episode (may be SPOILERS if you didn't read episode yet):

This episode is more of a setup type of episode. I gave out a lot of MOR's this episode, and I think the only person with above a 3 in visibility was Phillip. I tried to make everybody semi-visible this episode, just to show kind of where all the conflicts were and where everybody stands just so it is really clear for everybody reading.

Even the boot

Natalie

was and probably will be the most inconsequential boot of my season. She really didn't add much to anything besides another number in Mike's alliance, though I tried to give her a little bit of airtime just so she didn't get voted out of nowhere. Her scene in the beginning of the episode with her struggling with the elements should have been a dead give away she was getting voted out, as it really attributed nothing to the main story.

Redemption Island really does take up a crap load of the available space. I have a 10 page limit, and Redemption Island takes 2 of that on it's own. However, it is fun to write about and you'll find that I'll spend more time with the characters stuck on Redemption Island than in the real season, not by THAT much though, no worries.

The Steve vs. Sarita duel really wasn't really hard for me to come up with the winner. I honestly don't think Sarita could beat Steve in anything unless it was a puzzle or memory, and that'd be a boring first duel. Sorry to all the Sarita fans, but from the beginning she was just a background character and was never intended to be anything more.

Concerning challenge/duels, so far I've followed the season, but soon I'll begin to branch out and either mix up the challenge order a little bit or bring in my own.

Episode 4 will be very drama filled and is one of the most important to the plot and outcome of the entire season. I'll try to get it done ASAP.

I still don't understand why you're doing a contenders list.

If you're doing your own Edgic right and basing your contenders list off of that, then hypothetically, your merge pick will be the winner and you'll have spoiled your own fanfic.

I definitely get what you're saying, Polo, but just because someone is necessarily getting what seems to be the winners edit, doesn't mean they're necessarily going to win. Like in gf's fanfics, you have Kelly who won who got a lackluster UTR edit, and then you have Tyson who had a really OTT edit, and then you have some winners with really well balanced edits. So like I'm not necessarily spoiling my own fanfic, at least in my eyes.

Plus, no one else is doing an edgic chart for me. If someone did it for me or at least gave me a list of contenders after each episode, I wouldn't take on the task of doing it myself.

And admittedly I kind of suck at edgic so everyone should take my ratings and contenders with a grain of salt anyway.

loved the episode and the season in general. The editing is fantastic and I feel like I'm getting enough of all the characters and I like that. I did like Natalie and I'm a little diapointed to see her go, but this was a great journey for her and it was a cute story and I liked it. I can't wait for the rest of the season because so far it's been awesome.

I'm really happy you like the editing because my intention with it is to make sure that every character seems connected to the story and that nobody seems invisible or irrelevant like Kelly Shar or Kelly S or Brett. I want every person to seem important to the story in some way.

Natalie is adorable and definitely a positive force and it is sad the circumstances on which she left (being on the wrong side of the numbers). However, she still has Redemption Island! :)

I'm so glad you're reading and enjoying the story! I'm hoping it can only go up from here. Thanks again.
