It's amazing how overrated she is. I like her, don't get me wrong. She is smart and is scathingly hilarious at how well she mocks people, but she's top 25 material. I think it's fitting that her closest competition in this was Britney--the biggest shit-talkers on the show ever .

I always thought Danielle was UNDERrated, having come so soon after Will. Her game was actually quite similar to Will's, except that she added more of a social element, and had less contempt for humanity in general than Will does. Yet when Will did it, he was called a genius; when Danielle did it, she was called a bitch.

I'm very happy she won.

To clarify, I think Danielle as a character is overrated. She's arguably a top-tier gamer, the only reason I hesitate is because of her willingness to lose to Jason/Lisa. She might have been able to worm her way through the house without breaking a sweat but she never put a stop to the people that could beat her outright--and that's a considerable problem.

Danielle ingratiated herself with the BB3 houseguests. She tried to give advice, mentor, and console some of them like Kiki, Josh and Marcellas. BB works the same way that Survivor does: the jury would rather reward an outright asshole or someone "unworthy" than an asshole that pretended to be their friend [see Boston Rob in Survivor All Stars].

Further, to accentuate the difference between Will and Danielle: Will was regarded as an ass by the entire house for virtually the entire game--people like H.ardy, Nicole, and Bunky were well aware of this yet tried to align or use Will to their advantage (which would only work on a short-term basis). Danielle was a friendly figure who used her personality to win people over on a personal level before screwing them over.
