The CW unveiled their 2011-12 lineup on Thursday, May 19, and the network has decided to make Mondays Josh Schwartz's night of programming. "Gossip Girl" will return for its fifth season in the 8 p.m. timeslot while Schwartz's new medical dramedy "Hart of Dixie," which re-teams him with "The O.C." star Rachel Bilson, will air at 9 p.m.
"Hart of Dixie" centers on Bilson's character Zoe Hart, a young New York City doctor who inherits a private medical practice in a small Southern town inhabited by quirky yet lovable characters. Think "Gilmore Girls" meets "Everwood" meets "Doc Hollywood." The series also stars "Friday Night Lights" vet Scott Porter, Jaime King and Wilson Bethel.
