PEOPLE ARE WILL BE SCREAMing RAWWBED!
11.Tatum Riley
^^^^^ SO LOYAL
(WHO COULD FORGET)
Ouch… I took a lot of flack for #12, which I didn’t expect… now I expect the flack, but common guys 11 is totally respectable!!! Tatum was a comdic goddess and set a standard for best Sid friend that has yet to be matched. She was such a character she has such a bitchy, slutty, hard ass way about her, but you could tell deep down inside she loved Sid and had her back for sure and she even loved Dewdrop. She has so many classic lines. I loved her back and forth with Dewey wish that could have lasted longer “the janitor is your superior” it was cute and real and made me love them both. However as cool of a friend as she was she def had some screws loose… how else could you explain dating Stu… and she was pretty macabre… I blame Marilyn Manson… Who could forget.. “Bam Bitch Went Down” CLASSIC. However, I did think it was kinda shitty when she questioned Sid’s knowledge of her mom… even though she was right who says that about their bfs mom.. .and her “I wanna be in the sequel mr. ghostface” thing was pretty stupid…. Peeps are getting killed yo..dont’ be playin games with ghostface. However once she figured out what was up she put up a good fight chuck those beer bottles! Her escape plan was really not that bad…. I mean what would you have done? Also it leads to one of the most creative and iconic death scenes in the series…. RIP TATUM! Tatum started a tradition of the most prominent female other than Sid and Gale always dies! “Cut it casper.. that’s a wrap”
EPIC TOP 10

10.Cotton Weary
Ok, ok he is gone!, but I will tell you why I ranked him all the way up at #10 and no it’s not just because his importance to the storyline or that he is in more than one movie, but I think he is one of the most interesting and complex characters in the franchise. Most of the characters in the series are pretty much “good” or “bad”. I know it’s always a bit ambigious before the reveal but by the time the credits role you can pretty much say omg that’s so sad x died or omg I couldn’t believe what a murderous bitch y turned out to be thank god she got gutted. However Cotton is so dynamic and complex that he shits all over the horror movie character rules. He obviously isn’t a stand up citizen… he was banging a married woman for starters, he got framed and sent to jail for a year (rather poetic), and then he comes out and he is a famewhore to the extreme. If only Cotton lived long enough to see the reality tv craze I guarantee he would have been on I Love Money 4. So he has his swan song in Scream 3 and he has scored some hot tail btw (Christine), and he finally has the fame he craved 100% cotton (love it), but Scream 2 is really his shining moment he is so insense and the red herring sauce is laid on thick. Could it be him… totally makes sense a bit obvious though… so then in the big finale with Sid and Debbie Cotton comes bursting in to save the day…. But then he starts thinking… maybe I do want to be the sole survivor (foreshadowing?) and you can see It in his face…. He thinks I’m not normally a killer, but I wanna be famous! And if Sid doesn’t get me on The VIEW I will let Mrs Loomis cut a bitch.. I mean wow…. Takes some balls…. And you’re like omg what a dick he almost let Sid die over some TMZ bullshit and then you’re thinking he is gonna die for sure well… no or not yet anyway. He gets the hero edit and all the attention and the audience is left contemplating… is he a good guy? For being such a complex hero/villain Cotton gets #10. Plus he had a pretty suspenseful and bitchin open scene death although the weakest of the franchise still good in it’s own right.

Aight, Randy is number nine. I’m always a little baffled about how polarizing Randy is for Scream fans some people seem to love Randy and others seem to not care for him at all. I really really really like Randy, but there are some insane Randy fans out there who are probably the spawn of Claymates and Yankee fans or something. I always crack up whenever Scream sequel talk is about there are petitions to bring back Randy’s 12+ year dead skeleton. I think it just goes to show how great a character Randy was in the original Scream. I loved him here… Maybe I’m a bit naïve, but has there ever been such a self aware character in a horror movie before Scream, but he really seemed revolutionary to my 14 y/o self. If the audience is Sherlock Holmes he is our Watson. He reminds us of all that’s going on and who the suspects are and when we should be careful. Despite all his horror movie knowledge he still ends up like any other stupid victim screaming out “look behind you” as ghost face creeps up on him from behind. (KUDOS WES and KEVIN) that is such a good scene. I also love love love the scene with three of my favorite characters in the video store he is such a freakazoid and he plays it to a T and is hilarious. Also his role as the lonely geek is quite endearing and you really do wish he would “get the girl”. Despite his shocking faux death in Scream his most shocking moment was in Scream 2. I really was happy that they killed Randy… I know that doesn’t make sense, that I loved this character but was happy that they were killed off. It just showed that nobody was safe and anyone could die. I know people are now complaining that in S4 the trio are all still alive, but I’d say it’s less cliché to keep not 1 or 2 but 3 people alive in a slasher franchise and I didn’t expect them all to survive at all so it was quite shocking and effective…. (WE DON’T WANT ANOTHER HALLOWEEN RESURRECTION DO WE?). Anyway I’m getting OT Randy’s death was a great scene funny, suspenseful, and brutal. Mrs. Loomis sliced the shit of poor Randy and gave Gale to show off her Scream skills. Well there are two incarnations of Randy that I don’t really care for in the franchise, but his other incarnations make up for it. They are his Scream 3 video update… so pointless and stupid… I know you want to appease your fans, but please don’t pander it was such a goofy, unrealistic, stupid, uncessary moment that always makes my eyes roll… and it’s not really Randy or Jamie Kennedy’s fault it’s just the existence of this plot device. The other his film school scene at Windsor college as charming and funny as he is in the video store he is annoying and lame in that film class barf at that scene….. Either way Randy still gets up to #9.
