However, i'm not gonna lie, it's slightly boring/slow at parts. It's pretty weird to go back and watch the first seasons, back when most storylines weren't about backstabbing people/making alliances and finding Idols. It's refreshing, but at the same time I don't find fat people on branches good television. The First season looks like MTV's reality shows during the 90's, despite some awesome shots like this one: STAND-OUT CHARACTERS: BB - The shining star of Borneo. I never get burned out. You don't know me!!111 - BB I loved BB from the start, he was a work horse ready to die for his tribe. But he wasn't boring/dull/condescending, he was a pretty hilar old man with attitude who spoke about using Viagra and having a 25 year old wife. ^_^ Then he got lost in the woods with the black chick, and sort of formed an alliance with her. Why don't you stay where you are and I see if I can find anything that resembles... anything. - BB RAMONA - So lulzy how Ramona was about to pass out and die only a few minutes in ^_^ My god, this is just day one. - Ramona RUDY - Awesome Navy-Seals outcast who had no idea how to fit in with the youngens. Badass, Rudy. RICHARD - Ugly hairy fat homosexual on a branch. I've got the million dollar check written already and I mean i'm the winner. - Richard I eventually grow to love Rich, but he's pretty much insufferable during that tree branch scene. All talk. SONJA - The First boot Sonja was a pretty adorable old cooch who had no idea what she was in for. Her skin was falling off her wrinkled body only two days in. Unfortch for her, her tribe lost the very first Immunity Challenge. The good news is we'll be having fire tonight, the bad news is one of us won't be here to enjoy it. - Sonja I can't believe we have to pack up, we're just getting settled. - Sonja Oh Sonja ;_;, she became a legend for being the first person voted out ever. Go get 'em, guys. - Sonja Shinnvisible Award: Colleen Haskell earns this spot, she was shown a few times but I don't remember any words coming out of her mouth. Quote of the Week: The hardest part is hanging out with all these kids. I don't even know what MTV means. - Rudy Best Moment: There wasn't anything in particular that stood out. But i'm going with Sonja singing. SURVIVOR THE AUSTRALIAN OUTBACK - Stranded Australia is one of the most popular Seasons, and franky I still don't get why. It's like they don't edit out all the boring parts. I can't relate to most people, and it has probably my least favorite pre-merge ever. I hope to go through some major epiphanies regarding Australia, but the first episode was one giant snorefest. It was like 20 minutes of a hike, 10 minutes of people trying to light a fire and the rest was a forgettable Immunity Challenge + Tribal Council. STAND-OUT CHARACTERS: KIMMI - Vegetarian goddess My main concern is how the hell am I gonna masturbate out here? - Kimmi Kimmi is one of the few people that I instantly loved and her short rivalry with Debb made them the stars of the first episode. Nothing is taboo with her, nothing at all - Debb MAD DOG - Ogaboring + one Seriously her tribe is perhaps the most boring group of people ever to be thrown together. MD, and perhaps Jerri/Colby are that tribe's only salvation. JEFF - bit of a try hard, Richard Hatch-wannabe. I'm looking forward to voting somebody out, because it's the game and i'm here to play the game i'm not here to make friends. - Jeff He was trying to play the arrogant slob/villain card and it was too obvious. He's a pretty funny guy outside the game, but his one-dimensional villainous portrayal on the show was fmeh. THE BOOT - Debb the Mastermind HBIC goddess My personal opinion is -- the strong Survive. - Debb Debb was such a sweetheart ;_; all she wanted was to help and build a shelter just using rawks. I didn't even remember her actively trying to get Jeff out, what a strategic goddess. Unfortch the tribe thought she was too awkward and she got the boot. btw the tribal council location was pretty cool Shinnvisible Award: First one goes to Tina.
