EMoch, I loved that whole psycho Richard storyline. I thought I was alone!
In the new TVGuide, Marcia Cross confirms that the psych ward her character, Bree, was recently in on DH is the same set as the one as when she was Kimberly-pretending-to-be-Betsy and committed when she stabbed her shrink with the pencil to break out. Andrew Shue was the most one-dimensional actor on that show. Sad he lasted as long as he did. I LOVED MODELS INC...that show was pure camp, and it never got its due! |

Taylor's character was pretty bad, but for me the worse was Brooke. She was horrible! Totally one dimensional character and she was all wrong for Kristin Davis to be playing.
I actually loved Lexi. She helped to make the show during the last season. Jane has to be the most victimized character on Primetime Television ever. |

Yeah, Jane did have a pretty shitty life.
And I hated how the Kyle/Amanda storyline ended...God forbid we ever have a happy couple on Melrose. They were probably my favorite couple, and to see them ruined was a really sucky way for their story to go. |

Had to love the rotating job of Chief of Staff at the hospital between Michael and Peter. And didn't Coop try to break into that action as well?

I think the Kyle/Amanda storyline was ruined for two reasons:
Amanda had the most chemistry with Peter Burns. He was kind of her equal. Amanda was too much for Kyle. Rob Estes and Josie Bissett (then a real couple) couldn't keep their hands off each other. IN one of the last episodes there's a scene from the beach where the camera pans out at a wide angle, where you can actually see both actors getting real touchy-feely with one another, which was unrealistic based on the plot. I was surprised they didn't cut it out. |

Makes their separation/divorce that much sadder. We always kidded that their kids would be the most beautiful kids in the world.
But Rob never could recapture the magic that he had in Silk Stalkings....

LOVED the show! Billy was a whiney twat! Zero acting range. Jake was useless. The show went to hell after the stopped using Alison. I think Jake drained her character of life. Wait, I did love Taylor. But the last season makes me sad! </Randomness> |

Taylor pretty much sucked as a character, but I still laugh about the scene when she's trying to frame Peter for abusing her, and she slams a door into her own face. As if her lips aren't big enough.

I do think Taylor would have been a much better character if Hunter Tylo had taken the role in the first place. I vaguely remember that she got a 7 figure settlement from Spelling because he fired her when she got pregnant.

Just about everything I disliked about Taylor was an extension of Lisa Rinna, save for the actual script. |

Can someone post the Kimberly Shaw scar picture? Her nappy roots and gigantor scar were freaky. Not to mention stabbing her psychiatrist's hand into a desk.....eesh.
She, along with the woman who had half her face chewed off in Captain Planet (Dr.Blight) gave me nightmares. |
