I adore Amber Tamblyn, so that alone is enough to make me watch this. Plus, the premise itself sounds fantastically hokey (zombies trying to reclaim their former lives).

Although I can't stand Jamey Sheridan, Kathy Baker is outstanding. Loved her on Picket Fences and will follow her to this, even if it's crapola.

It's weird, because I could've sworn Variety had posted an article last week saying it was picked up. And it seems like this show might work well as the show that alternates timeslots with the shortened-Jericho season.
Dammit, CBS. I'm still pissed at you for cancelling Joan of Arcadia - don't make me hate you more by not even picking this up. |

Ummm...... Uhh..... Oh yeah! I'll def. check this out, I was pissed when they booted Joan Of Arcadia, and I've liked Amber since back in her GH days. And the show actually sounds interesting, which is a bonus. |

Oh hey - i worked on visual effects for this show. Read the script and saw most of the episode in raw format. I signed a confidentiality agreement so I can't give away the plot, but I can probably point you in the right direction of which shots I worked on.
This show is pretty gruesome. Even in the rough footage I found it disturbing to look at, not to mention the fact that we made it more disgusting in visual effects. I do want to say, I'd never read a script before and I couldn't put this one down. Very well written. |

CBS should go with 13 episodes of Jericho in the fall and 13 episodes of this in the spring. Nice little half-seasons to prevent the "loss of viewers in droves" effect from winter breaks.

This is officially done, BUT the completed pilot (in slightly crappy quality) has leaked. I really liked it, and it totally creeped me out (don't watch this right before going to bed kiddies). Amber Tamblyn is (of course) fantastic, indeed the whole cast is great. That said, I'm not entirely surprised this didn't get picked up. It's really heavy, to the point where I can only recall one five second moment that's even remotely humourous, and despite the zombies it doesn't really feel like a genre show which, to me, means it isn't very accessible. |
