I wanted some sort of interaction with Carol, Neela, and Sam though... I mean she heard them say something about working at County and Carol never said.. hey I used to work there or anything Or surely to god they have heard about Doug and Carol.. wouldn't the names ring a bell?? Nevermind LOL...George finally did it.... should have asked about Carter though Ok I loved that.... but I somehow wanted Doug and Carol to find out the kidney went to Carter!!

That could have been the season finale as far as I was concerned! But I too wanted to Doug & Carol find out that the kidney went to Dr. Carter. What a
great episode.
Frankly, they could do the rest of the season with just my old fave's get rid of the new cast entirely... I don't really care anything about them. I've only been watching this season for the old folks to show up (& they have not disappointed!). |

This was quality television - the scenes with Clooney and Sarandon were cinema worthy. Knowing that Carol and Doug lived happily ever after gave me the warm
fuzzies.

I'm a little surprised that no one has mentioned the scenes with Peter Benton. There was a time when I couldn'' stand him, but he was so funny and
arrogant last night. I'm telling ya Carter and Benton were the best couple ever on ER.
Seeing all the old-timers makes you realize how crappy this show has become. |

I think bringing them back was pointless, I wish they would have had more to do with a storyline. It seemed moreso that they were creating a pointless
storyline to bring them back, when they had nothing to do with the plot.
I mean they haven't been on the show for like 10 years? It was dumb since there was no reunion since none of these people on the show anymore are remotely even close to being originals. Still enjoyed seeing them though. I'm just disappointed by the hype for this finale. They failed majorly on Angela's character, they have dragged out her story the whole season for no reason. They are randomly bringing back old people just for the sake of bringing them back, where they have little to do with the storyline. |

While I loved it overall, I did find it just a little odd when Doug introduced himself that neither Neela or Sam said anything like... OH I've heard about
you, or something.... Come on he was a frigging legend LOL..... in Carter's first episode back, Stamos asked him if he was the doctor who knocked up the
nurse and moved to Seattle..so how did Neela or Sam not have a clue???
Sorry I know I'm nitpicking but I did want something more......to bad one of the nurses from back when they were on hadn't gone too I did love Benton though... that was great, just as arrogant as ever.. when he joked that Carter married a sister, was hilarious.... him and Carter were always great together.... I do wish they would clue us in to why he needed the transplant.... instead of "it's a long story"

Only part I really loved last night was Benton's scenes, especially in the OR with the transplant douche who didn't follow protocol.
The flight leaving without Neela and Sam was stupid. STUPID I say. after that, I was half expecting the heart to show up for Carter and the kidney to show up for boring mom. |

Loved Benton last night! Thought it was kinda odd that Doug and Carol didn't even wonder if the "Dr. in Chicago" getting the kidney was someone
they knew.
Is Benton's woman someone from the show? I couldn't remember. |
