Angie Harmon married Jason Sehorn of the Giants. He was never the same afterwards.

Never believed Angie Harmon as an ADA? I did. I thought she was a wonderful actress.

I don't watch the current seasons, but it's disgusting how hooked i am on the TNT reruns. I seriously need an intervention.
This is one damn good show. |

Season Premiere Discussion
|
I cannot believe no one's commented on the new season!
We have Milena Gorvich from the recently cancelled "Conviction", and we have a brand new hot female ASA, what'shernameallIknowithatshe'sLatino. The beginning episode I thought was okay, but I've always been a loyal L&O fan, so I'll still be tuning in. Can't wait for next week. @#%$ for MyMurder? |

S. Epatha has been on the longest as far as the regular stars of the show, but the woman that plays the coroner, has been on the show since the begining, if I am not mistaken. But because she is not a featured player, I don't think they recongnize her longevity

Decent premiere..nothing great.
I liked the new female cop, Cassidy and think she fits in well w/ whatever the name of the black guy is. Anyone? As for the new ADA- I thought Alana De La Garza would be awkward and was miscast but she was shockingly not bad. She was on the last season of CSI Miami and on that show I wouldn't ever buy her in any type of professional role. They gave her a serious haircut that really helped and aged her like 5 years to make her more believable. I'll have to see more. Anyone know why Annie Parisse left the show? Was she fired after one season or did the actress leave? I liked her. |

The actress left. She felt like that the role wasn't challenging enough for her.

Thanks..seems like a stupid move since she was basically unknown before the show to me at least and it's a successful show on NBC. She prob. should have stuck around for another season.

Damn, I missed this. How did they explain Fontana's departure? I've always been a big Dennis Farina fan, but I'll check out this new season.

General L & O question | ||
|
I missed some of last season. Did they ever do a memorial for Lenny or was it a blink and miss it type thing.
I saw a few episodes on TNT which, in hindsight, explain the comment about Serena wondering if she was fired for being a lesbian. A couple of times she mentioned a friend who came out in college. Another specific episode revolved around the outing of a celebrity by a gay publication. The guy made a comment to Serena about don't worry DA's aren't high on our list of outings. Or something similiar. Little tell tale signs like that make her final show a little more understandable. |

They never did a memorial for Lenny because he was already cast on L&O Conviction. I didnt even see one epi of that show.

Re: General L & O question
Quote:I don't watch the repeats at all so I may be off but weren't those gay inspired episodes more towards the end of the season before her departure? She was on for many shows and the gay rights/right wing heat only started prob. once the writers came up w/ the explosive out for her, not all throughout her stay on the show. |

That was an okay episode, with a predictable ending. Oh well. I'll still tuning in though.

Crappy episode since I know the true story from the headlines and the only thing they added was having the girl get caught in the rubble.
The man blowing the home up so that the wife couldn't profit off the property? Not really a twist since that is what really happened. Did not like. Who played that women's rights lawyer, Alyssa? She looks hella familiar. |
