Here are the names of new contestants: * Meg Allison * Whitney Duncan * Angela Hacker * Zac Hacker * Tim LaRoche * Kacey Musgraves * Rickiejoleen * Joshua Stevens * David St. Romain * Dustin Wilkes There are videos and interviews for all of them at the site. Jewel is going to be co-hosting with Cowboy Troy. Randy Owen and Blake Shelton are going to be the new judges and Anastasia is still there. Website

It doesnt' say so but Zac and Angela Hacker are both there and both from Muscle Shoals. They both are very bluesy. I dig his voice a LOT. So are they NOT going to tote them as brother/sister?

I was a huge Nashville Star fan until I realized they're not producing much in the way of actual Nashville stars. It will probably lasso me in this year again though, in hopes a Miranda Lambert might again emerge.

For me, Last season got to become a huge bore after the Kristen boot. She was the only one who realistically had a chance at beating Chris. When she got booted the only female was Nicole, she sucked balls and ended up getting third. I think Miranda will be the only star this show has produced.

I think the males were simply much better than the females last season, but that is just my opinion. Last season I had strong favorites pre-show just by reading their bios and hearing their music. This season I don't have a favorite from that.
