But what I saw was funny enough; has potential. It's only been signed on for eight episodes, though. Maybe with the ratings now, they'll extend the contract. But I think there may be a drop-off, since it was a very-hyped premiere.

Unfortunately, some of those jawdropping stereotypes of all muslims as terrorists are really out there, but also the mutual stereotypes of muslims from all sorts of places and cultures who find themselves in America in the same congregation. (We actually had two starts of Ramadan this year, since folks couldn't agree on the moon sighting, but hey, more cucumber sandwiches for everyone!)

I'd like to see more episodes where a lot the funny bits haven't been in the commercials.Then we'll see how it holds up. It's not on against anything I care about either. It's mindless fluff TV despite them trying to teach us Canadians all about Islam. I loved the line from the kid to the dad about people not warming up too his just off the boat look. Funny stuff.

At least one Muslim finally gets that you get a lot more flies with honey then vinegar Sounds pretty funny too from that NPR interview I heard last night. Good on ya, canucks!
