Yes, it's sad that it's all based on one submission but I'm sure that's how it's always been rather than 'total body of work'. I think the actor who plays J.R. on AMC is terrible..but, he's nominated. It doesn't make any sense to me. I love Susan Haskell (from OLTL) she's a very good actress...so, I'll cheer her on over Jeannie. I'll definitely hope for Christian as he had a pretty strong year , last year and 'it was an emotional year' too as I recall...so, maybe?? I hope Bryant (DEVON ) and Lily do not get nominated as younger actors..but, I don't know what the age cut-off is for that? Susan Flannery, isn't she nominated 'every' year?

I still feel Gloria(Judith Chapman) should be nominated for supporting actress (not sure if she has but I don't believe so.) She's awesome, and my favorite character on the show.

At the end of today's Canadian episode, viewers were shocked to learn that Thom Bierdz was on the other end of a call Cane made two years ago to his Uncle Langley! Talk about a cliffhanger! Is Bierdz Phillip Chancellor III? Our lips are sealed, but we've been promised the reveal will be more shocking than the news of Bierdz's re-arrival. So how did the CBS sudser manage to pull the wool over everyone's eyes? Y&R shot the actor's top-secret return on a closed set one weekend back in March. Not even Daniel Goddard (Cane) was made aware of Bierdz's hiring - well, until today that is. The Suds Report has also exclusively learned that Bierdz has signed a one-year contract with the soap that made him a star. This past February, the sexy actor reportedly called Bell about the possibility of returning to the show. Bell jumped at the inspired opportunity, realizing what a casting coup "Phillip's" return would be. As previously reported, Bierdz's arrival will kick off a major mystery storyline involving Tricia Cast (Nina) and John Driscoll (Phillip IV).

I don't like it when a show / characters get nominated for one catastrophe during an entire year. It sucks. I wish it was for their body of work (the show and the characters) all year. It seems like other performers and shows get de-railed because there was a 2 week special of an Earthquake or 'whatever'. Now, I am at peace, like Izzie Stevens.

I'll put it as a spoiler: Spoiler [+] Well, the Wedding was boring and all that (no surprise) but the last scene when Cane looked at his 'new wife' and said he'd go back and get her bouquet was my shocker! He looked up at Jesus on the cross and said, "FORGIVE ME", after his promise to Lily he'd never lie or hide things from her. Then, he flashes back to his call with 'PHILIP 3rd?" saying "Everything is going as planned. They put me right in as CEO, then..accepted me..etc.." And, it's the original Philip 3rd (sorry, I wasn't watching back then but I assume this is who everyone is talking about -Thom Bierdz-)So, CANE IS A BAD GUY...who knew? What a long build up to have that side of him unfold. I love it, EVIL CANE..now Billy looks like a drunken sweetheart! I think Thom's character is called 'Langly?' I guess we get the insider view to how he's 'trying' to pull off his revenge on Victor..but, I wish they had gone with another person rather than Adam. So, he got tapings on-line of Sabrina talking about pieces of Art. ONE IS of Sabrina describing something 'dark'. Sabrina says, "This work symbolizes death..we see that death is coming. The figure is desolate, hopeless, powerless as the END IS NEAR. IT is the crueeeeeeeeel death, as we see reflected in her dark eyes. There is no escape." So, Adam splices this together with an introduction from Sabrina. Obviously, this is all intended for Ashley's ears and to hurt Victor badly. Meanwhile, the LAUNDRY MAN- LOUGI- arrives in person with the clean goods and Victor asks "why he's bringing it in person?" Well, he found the recorder in Estella's #%*$+ pocket and it's 'the baby crying'. (I find this all too predictable and lame. Sadly, they went this route imho). Ashley hears 'the tape' and tells Victor 'that's what she heard in the woods..and she's been right all along. IT'S ESTELLA...IT'S ESTELLA." Victor says, "how could she do something so despicable..it's totally incomprehensible...call me irresponsible...hits music tape*..undeniable..." But, Victor finds it hard to believe. So, Ashley rants, "So you think it's ADAM..he's almost blind...and you think it may be me..that I'm loosing my MIND!!" Victor says NO, but he finds it hard to believe that Estella would do this. Adam arrives and Victor asks him to 'comfort' Ashley while he goes to see EVIL INNOCENT ESTELLA. He sees Estella. He grills Estella..and he 'does think she's behind it..why would she do this to someone HE LOVES DAMMIT!' Estella says 'someone set her up?' Victor wants to know why Estella would do that. He wants Estella to prove that she's innocent. He LET'S POOR ESTELLA GO!! Estalla: "You can fire me, but it's not going to change what happens to her." Victor: "YOU STAY AWAY FROM ASHLEY..I'M WARNING YOU!!" Now he's beating up on small foreign women (add little Colleen to the list). I guess that TGVN has to rip someone apart, he's running out of people to destroy! After comforting Ashley: Adam goes to his TECH ROOM and sets the tape in motion. The phone rings... and Ashley answers it with Adam in the 'room'... Sabrina's 'speech of death' is on the phone. Behind Ashley, Adam is 'smiling!' She listen's to most of the 'dark speech by Sabrina' , Adam - "ASHLEY ARE YOU OKAY..WHAT'S WRONG??" She drops the phone and runs to the door just when Victor is entering. She falls into Moustache's massive, bulking Boxer Arms. At the Wedding: Nina talks about missing Philip to Jill who adds...'she will always think of the other Philip with love/and as a son. (and that's where we go back to my spoiler!) OMG. God, are they going to have that brat sing at every Wedding and event in Genoa City.

NO...he's straight? :) Touched by an Angel's star (who needs to be touched by Jenny Cragi) Aunt Della Reese (Virginia) she's Devon's Great AUNTIE- showed up. He found Aunt Virginia 'on-line!' seriously....he's that desperate! I have to say, TYRA does look HOT! sizzzzzle HOT. OH, Cane is lying his face off at the reception..big time. Now that we KNOW it's all a set-up to get into the 'money'...it's so interesting ...'no , I still hate the Winters' but I love Cane being bad now. YEAH! OH...and Chloe dances with Billy and he reminds her of a Swedish girl Chloe locked in a bathroom (URSALA) when she was in STALK MODE. I love Chloe. I just want the 'dark' side of Cane to be revealed sooner than later but I know the happy couple crap will have to ensue for a while. Bringing back 'Thom/Phillip/Langley' will be 'curious'. I don't have a clue what his role is. Kay wants Cane to take on the Chancellor name (oh, that's perfect timing for our turn-coat, Cane) Red is at the reception with Nick and is worried 'that things are still not good' after seeing Sharon in his arms at the club. He reminds her she wasn't well..and Red says, "IT'S ALWAYS SOMETHING!" but, Nick says, let's have fun, make whoopi, dance and drink! (COPE OUT DAD/HUBBY) Also, I feel the same way about Mary Jane (I know Paul is going to investigate 'why' he knows her). I don't really believe she's in this to help Victor as an employee..I think 'this is personal' by the way she's acting out and plotting. Back to dull wedding: Thank God for Amber/Chloe..they trashed 'Lily's dress' and Jill reminded them that it's her DEAD MOTHER'S DRESS so, they lack in any sensitivity or tact. Nina offered to 'maybe' work with Restless Style (due to her great success/ that could be fun) Billy goads Kevin to be a 'psycho silver Chipmunk friek' and Mac over-hears and calls Billy out for being an asshole. Great timing jerk! Over to Ashley She said 'Sabrina called and said that Ashley was going to die, she'd be next and there was nothing she could do." Adam added: "SHE SOUNDED PETRIFIED...IT MUST HAVE BEEN ESTELLA..SHE WANTED REVENGE.." I see through this , why can't Moustache? It's very lame (sadly) Adam offers AShley 'Tea'. He's a sweet boy. WHA HA HA... When Moustache went to call Estella he looked 'stunned' and said, ".......that number'..HE MUMBLED (THE IDIOT) so, I replayed it twice and still didn't know what Mumbles said. But, his eyes looked like death so 'something CLICKED!' and, I think it could be something to do with ??? Adam. Victor is off the phone and said 'Estella did not phone..he asked Rafe to check all calls and none were to the house." ADAM IS SCHOCKED..well then "WHO CALLED??" (evil Moustache Face hits screen..YIKES) Olivia is called to the Ranch by desperate Moustache. Ash is not happy. Sad Ashley Manhands...she's bummed! Olivia it taking Ashley's medical stats..health/baby etc... Adam is asked by Moustache if he heard a voice over the phone or 'really' heard a baby crying?? He says 'no'... he's talking TOO MUCH... Ashley's B. Pressure is high..and she (Olivia) feels she should go to the hospital for observation. Olivia wants her to talk to someone. Ashley: "I don't need TO TALK TO SOMEONE..I NEED YOU AND VICTOR TO BELIEVE ME...PLEASE TELL VICTOR THAT!!" Olivia agrees..OH , she's a frikkin' trooper that one! Dull as nails and Canadian- go figure! Adam tells Ash that Estella has an airtight alibi ... Ash is not happy about that and she really believes in Adam as 'her support guy!' YOU IDIOT! Victor and Adam alone: "You being here has been helpful to Ashley, I want to thank you for that." Victor leaves...Adam."It's a little late for that ..DON'T YOU THINK!"

OMFG!!!! I was just ready to ditch this nonsense for good (because I am totally POed that they are making Adam into this diabolical swine bastard and is gas-lighting my girl Ashley) and viola.... Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in!! I am so happy I stay away from spoilers. I think I'm gonna start loving dastardly Cane again. I'm obsessed, peeps!
