I just hope that the new people coming into Torchwood add great elements to the story and will fill the void in my heart after Owen and Toshiko died. This show
needs to come back soon to BBC America.

Did I read (maybe on this site even?) that Torchwood will be back in the spring of 2009 with 5 or 7 episodes only. No word on when/if BBCA will show them.
I'm lucky to get HDNet and they are showing all the Torchwoods on Monday nights in order. This coming Monday will be Episode 10. So I'm catching up
quite nicely and now I'm totally hooked. My girlfriend made me watch the last episodes and now my heart breaks with each episode because I know Tosh &
Owen die.

Five episodes...ugh. This may be heresy, but I would actually like it if they developed an American version of this show and kept the same... "subversive" elements. Mostly because at least I know that the US versions will create 22-23 episodes a season instead of half that, or, even worse...just FIVE. Ugh. |

Only five episodes? If each episode was two hours long, then maybe I can forgive them, but only five 60-minute episodes?
They had better kick some major arse. |

I think I read somewhere that the five episodes were going to be aired over the course of a week, with one a night.

Is Tosh coming back? I won't watch this anymore if she doesn't. This show was hard to watch even when she was on. It seemed so goofy and the main girl
with the gap in her teeth is annoying as fuck. Tosh was the only thing keeping me watching this.

Anybody know if Torchwood or Doctor who episodes are edited down on the US DVDs to coincide with the versions that aired here? I watched this online and
wouldn't mind forking over some money for the DVDs but I don't think I would want them if they were the edited versuons.

I thought Torchwood was going on break with Doctor Who?
pt as far as I know, Torchwood isn't edited and the only thing that was removed from Doctor Who was that scene of the Master dancing to music from one of the finales. |

BBCAmerica to air the Torchwood episodes hours after it airs in the UK as opposed to Sci Fi airing Doctor Who weeks after it airs in the states.

w00t! But I don't have the cable box anymore so I can't get BBCAmerica. XO When does the show start so I know when to visit their website and watch the
episodes online?

Ok I just finished the second season of new Doctor Who and I was hoping that they would have explained how Jack got to Torchwood from Satellite 5. It just
doesn't make sense to me, I thought the events that happened in Bad Wolf and The Parting of Ways took place many many years in the future and Torchwood
isn't set in the same time period. Now I realize that Jack is goes with the Doctor at the end of the first season of Torchwood and will be in some episodes
of the third season of Doctor Who, do they explain how he got to Torchwood then? Or is it never explained?
By the way thanks for answering my DVD question. |

For those of you with means and opportunity, Torchwood S3 Children of Earth will air next week on the BBC, Monday through Friday at 9:00 pm (4pm eastern, 1pm
pacific). It may magically appear on the internets about an hour after that.
BBC Radio 4 is also airing audio plays Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. They're freely downloadable for a short period of time. Radio 4 website

:D This is a pleasant surprise! I'd better get a Torchwood avatar around or something to celebrate! I'm really hoping the episode is on the BBC website
soon after their first broadcast. Is it the same episode airing from Monday through Friday? Or is "Childen of Earth" a subtitle for season three?
