Exactly. That's why it can't be compared to interracial relationships...one of the parties is absolutely NON-consenting. Molestation victims often beg their attacker to stop. Even if children are too young or too scared to actually say no, their behavior and actions certainly say no. And they are threatened and coerced into keeping the secret. What jackass can actually compare this to a relationship between two consenting adults? Not to mention the overwhelming scientific evidence of psychological harm that these victims suffer.

One thing was out of character for Wong last night....him yelling out in court. Yeah, they made it clear that he is passionate about the subject, but no way Wong would jeopardize a case like that. He's just too controlled and smart to do something like that.

Well, that girl was a character on tv. When I see a real child say that her attacker saved her life and that she actually seduced him, and that her life was better for it, maybe I'll reconsider.

But even if that child existed, and actually she just may b/c our society has sexualized children to such an extreme degree, there's an implicit imbalance of power that can't be ignored. She was being beaten by her father and her drunken useless mother didn't give a shit. Along comes a man who doesn't beat her. Who professes to care about her. This man is preying on the girl's misery by being the one thing in her life that is good. Only an adult could do that....only an adult would have the maturity to understand that he could take advantage of her by being the opposite of the other adults in her life. A child her own age wouldn't have that insight. The child is being taken advantage of, period.

It's not unlike harassment in the workplace by a superior. The superior holds all the power. Maybe the subordinate benefits from the relationship via better perks or promotions or whatever, but that doesn't change the fact that the superior has abused his/her position of authority to get what he/she wants.


But I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest that the vast majority of molestation victims likely don't sing the praises of their attackers anyway.

Actually you would be wrong to think it wasn't substantial, the majority of cases I dealt with, were of a female tween/teen + an 18 to21 year old male creep. Usually reported by parent(s). Usually in lower socio-economic communities. To me they are as disgusting as SVU paedos. A significantly large number of that group defend their molestor.

God, that's just sick.

I think the paedos that prey on young children are the worst though. How the fuck can someone look at a 6 year old girl or boy and be aroused? There's a special place in hell for people like that. Or at least I hope there is. Have to say, I'm a big fan of the jailhouse justice meted out to child molesters.
