Last night's episode was a little predictable but still good. I'm glad the chief is staying. I was worried they were going to bring in a new one who
was a hard ass or something like that. That would change the whole dynamic of them working for the police. I guess I don't have to worry. Seeing
Shawn's mom should be interesting though.
BTW, did you ever notice that all the flashbacks are to 1987? That must have been a very crucial year in Shawn's life. lol |

You found the episode predictable? I have no fucking clue at what point the clues were laid to actually link the guy to being the mummy.

Gus and Shawn saw the news and it mentioned the gun collection and at that point we had already seen the damaged gun in the case at the museum. So at that
point I knew who was guilty. Now the week before I didn't see that ending coming with the husband and wife killing each other.

I figured the guy was the mummy really really early on, but that was just because it was on a CSI episode years ago, except it was an old Japanese suit of
armor. It was a fun episode anyways.
I thought a couple of the FB's were 1986, but I may well be mistaken. I bet when the kid playing young Sean gets a lttle older the FB's will be in 88-90. And, I hope they put the psych-outs on the DVD's this time, I love them and hate that they don't show them during the repeat airings. |

That must have been a very crucial year in Shawn's life. lolNot necessarily, many of Season one's eps were FB's to 1986...it just happens to be a 20 year thing, even though I figure 1991 as a Crucial Year in the Spencer household; i believe that may have been the year the Spencers were eventually divorced. Just a Theory Season Three is hopefully going to give us some Spencer Family Secrets, hmm? |

One of the Season 1 FB's was to 1989, which was weird because the one before it was 85 or 86, but it was the same kid who clearly was the same age.
And, while watching the DVD's over the weekend, I finally realized where I knew Cutthroat Bitch from House from, she was Lassie's partner in the pilot. Does anyone know what the deal with the pineapple is? ETA: 9000!

NBC has aired psych episodes before....these will likely be season two episodes, maybe some season one, who knows....NBC has time slots to fill, so why not
take their cable sister's best shows and air them for ppl who dont have cable to see.
CANNOT WAIT FOR THE SEASON 2 DVD. i already used up my season one time and since the usa website is so damn slow in showing full episodes (took me 5 hours just to watch the old and the restless), i am feening my roday fixins. |

The Season 2 DVD release date has been changed to July 8th. USA also announced this week that new episodes of Psych
will begin airing on July 18th (which probably explains why they moved the DVD release to coincide with the start of
the new season).

uh oh. Better hurry up and move Buying S1 to the top of the list. I enjoyed this series during season 1 but I enjoyed it a whole lot more in Season 2. I
don't know if S2 was that much better or that Big Nose (Shawn) was growing on me. I still enjoy the rest of the ensemble cast more than Shawn. No, wait. I
can't say that. The episode with the Spanish soap opera nailed the season for me. I still find myself singing the theme song in spanish. LOL

I think S1 was better than S2. I found Shawn a tad bit annoying in some eps of S2 for some reason. Still love the show though, I'm not goin' anywhere!

I'm ready for this show to come back. I wasn't watching before and I have been catching up with NBC/USA reruns/usa.com and I am almost complete ;) I
just watched the S2 finale online. I heart PSYCH! I can see Cybil with this cast.

Maggie Lawson and James Roday are going to be on "Fear Itself" on NBC tonight, if anyone cares.
Also, has anyone seen the commercial for the new season with Sean and Gus singing "Ebony and Ivory"? Cracked me up.
