Lila's voice has always been what I hated. Look back at my posts before she showed her psycho side. Okay, don't - not worth the effort.

Unbelievable.
Doakes was STELLAR tonight. Every second with him and Dexter together was perfection. And Harry's death and the reason behind it blew me away. I do not know how this one is gonna turn out. Man, I hate Lila. |

wtf is it with everyone wanting to guess what happens next week?
why don't we talk about what happened THIS WEEK! doakes and dexter and their interaction was some of the most beautiful television i have ever seen. but let's not focus on that. let's not analyze that. let's go to next week and the bullshit previews. and guess. you people amaze me... |

I'm patiently waiting for next week. :)
I agree about the scenes with Doakes and Dexter. Michael C. Hall's acting in those scenes was scary good. And yet next year, both he and the show will be overlooked come awards season for some shit show. |

The interaction between Dex and Doakes was good, but I think we will see better next week.
My favourite part was young Dexter and Deb. Gawd! What geeks!!! That was just beautiful! The part that really got me was when Dexter killed that guy with Doakes in the room. I tried to imagine what Doakes would have heard, smelled and felt - not possible. Dexter allowing a witness just about blew my mind! Very, very disturbing. (Can hardly wait for Lila to die!) |

The only thing I hate about this season is..... well there is no way any season after this is going to be nearly as good.

Stellar episode. Doakes was great, his repulsion after Dexters murder was pitch perfect. For once, i was finally rooting against Dexter and wanting to see
him go down. He takes too much pleasure in his kills, he has to fall.

Best episode eva!!!!! I loved Dexter! MCH deserves an Emmy for that performance! Awesome. Lila is crazy as hell!!! Why didn't Dexter see it? But
aren't rebounds usually fucked up in some kind of way. I feel bad for the Latino cop! I can't remember his name. He is a nice guy! I will miss
Doakes.

Fantastic episode last night and I agree that this season has been stellar.
I was so torn with the scenes between Doakes and Dex. Amazing acting on both parts. I was resigned for the fact that Dexter needed to kill Doakes and that he was trying to fit Doakes into his code by pegging Doakes as a killer. Then when Dexter started planting Doakes' fingerprints . . . WOW. I wonder how that will all play out, with Doakes being tried as the Bay Harbor Butcher and knowing all he knows about Dexter. I sure hope Harry taught Dexter how to beat lie detector tests . Dexter killing the drug guy with Doakes in the room was chilling. The look on Doakes' face when it was over spoke volumes. Even a tough-as-nails special ops guy was almost rendered catatonic after the horror. I wonder how Dexter is going to work it so that Doakes is apprehended? Will he let Doakes out of the cage or somehow lead the police to the cabin? And the flashback to Harry walking in during one of Dexter's kills was something I never saw coming. Harry being repulsed enough to commit suicide by the Dexter he helped create was sad. Poor Dexter. However, I liked how the reality of what Harry groomed Dexter into was that disturbing to him. Just like us viewers rooting for Dexter and seeing Dex as a "good guy" in theory, but if we were ever to witness what he does for real . . . *shudders* Lila is a total skank. From the previews it looks like Dexter actually believes her at first? She is obviously going down for messing with Dexter's friends, though I thought she was going to go after Rita and drug her or her kids. I wonder what she is going to do when she goes out to the cabin? What a meddling b!t*h!!! With all the great casting for this show, my only complaint is Deb. Why does she have to be such a fug? It really is quite distracting to me. Between her smashed face and her mouth and attitude, I don't get how anyone would tolerate her, let alone be attracted to her. Just yuck. |

The Doakes/Dexter scenes were pure gold. No other way to describe them.

It was strangely heartbreaking when Harry walked in on Dexter..Dexter looked so proud of what he had done, and the shot of Harry vomiting was just graphic
enough that I almost felt nauseous.
Wow still. |

Nice to see a much Darker Dexter. Not sure where they intend to take the series after a lot of this stuff though. Should be interesting.
