Posts: 846 (05/14/10 01:45 PM) MESS member More Recent Posts	Not too much info here but, this is from an AP article interviewing Jeff Probst: The remaining contestants will compete in two immunity challenges and three tribal councils before the sole survivor is selected on Sunday's finale at 8 p.m. EDT by a nine-person jury that's comprised mostly of fallen heroes. Probst promised a close finish in the season's last immunity challenge, which will feature the final four castaways blindfolded. "The final immunity challenge is a big challenge with a lot on the line," said Probst. "Everybody is wanting and truly feeling they need to win or they're probably going home. It's one of the closest finishes we've ever had. It was so exciting and so close, that it cut itself in the editing room. Our editors said it was the easiest challenge to edit." Article

He's the one person who does not have to win to get to the F3. He also puts in as little physical effort as possible. .. Jeffy's slightly more reliable.Astro may have the challenge scenario.

After Thursday's episode, there is a solid alliance between Parvati and Sandra, and they've told Jerri that they're not going to eliminate her, which leaves Russell on the outs at the final four. He does need to win, or the boot list doesn't work out.

He would have to force a tie to keep Jerri. Jerri hasn't burned anyone, and she's not a former winner, and she won at least two individual challenges, so she is not weak. So I don't think Parv needs immunity to stay in. She may win it, but I don't think she needs it. Does Russell feel like he needs it? I think so. He never controlled Sandra, and he knows he lost control of Parv, and I doubt he counts on either of them. Russell will never see himself as the goat. He understands "the goat" as someone who had no game. He understands that people with allies on the jury are threats to win, but he doesn't at that point accept that jurors ignore your game play if they happen to not like your personality, or hygiene, or if you insulted them, etc.. Russell believes he is a threat and that smart people wouldn't want to sit beside him.
