Yeah, and the shot of him looking at the pool through the cracked glass was a tad on the nose.

There are only two episodes left and I don't think Weiner would have us believe that there is more than one mystery woman at this point. That tidbit of info is depressing, yet will resolve this perverse situation where I want the weekend to go by fast so we can get to Sunday night. |

Did Betty menstruate on the couch?

Betty's really starting to creep me out.

you can't blame betty. after all, don/dick fixes original mrs. draper's chairs! poor betty.
but that phone conversation with her riding buddy that she set up for an affair (who then went through with that affair) did creep me out. oh, and after that last scene, i'm sorry i didn't put this in spoiler tags... OG sofa wrote: |

don/dick fixes original mrs. draper's chairs! poor betty. Maybe if Betty weren't such a cunt, dick/don would "fix her chairs" too.

yeah, next sunday is the season finale. i was trying to come up with a reason betty would be bleeding on the couch like that. it doesn't really fit into the storyline... unless... remember an ep or two ago after don and betty split and they showed those throwaway scenes of betty defrosting the norge and cutting new shelf paper for the cabinets/drawers in the kitchen? could betty have been nesting? is betty pregnant? how long has it been since don and betty did the nasty? (not counting that hump at the folk's house. that would be too soon.) just a thought. it could get don to come home if betty is having a problem with a pregnancy...

I think either Betty is pregnant, or suffered a miscarriage. And I don't see good things ahead for big girl Sally, who just got new riding boots. Her
mother already likened her to Bonnie Blue from Gone With the Wind....perhaps Sally falls off a horse, and that drives DickDon back home. The first Mrs Draper
convinces him to check in for the childrens' sake, and he learns that Sally is seriously hurt.
Because DickDon simply cannot stay out there on the left coast. Unless that's part of the finale "cliff hanger". So Joanie's Dr. is only going to be able to perform sexually if he's raping her? If she fights back, he's going to call her a whore because she does whorish things like climb on top during sex. That whore. And she clearly wants a doctor for a husband...how much will she take? As she agrees to take care of Peggy's new door, Joan realizes that it could have been her in that office. |

EmmaPeel wrote: wow. i never considered sally. those boot were interesting. either way "storm clouds gather" in the draper household. and it would have to be an amazing event to get don back from california. he obviously gets along famously with original mrs. draper. chillin' with the hot rod guys with business plans already in mind. playing in the surf... plus there is that $500,000 he just made (he don't know yet but...) from the sale of sterling-coo. he could split that with betty and make a good go of it in the sun... hell, if i wasn't such a mad men fan i'd be rooting for don to stay in ca. hey yo, amc! get up off your wallet and pay weiner whatever he wants. don't tell me you'll do a season three without him. i won't watch. i am og sofa, and i approve of this message... |

I was right. The woman turned out to be from the car dealership and that's also who Don sent the book to.
I guess Don is going to be reborn... that was a baptism at the end, right? |
