I was wondering if they would continue with this project...glad to see it on again! Loved Murray going down again, and the fact that no one even noticed he was
gone at the NZ consulate! LOL
Good songs too...they're expanding their palatte. They might only do one more season, but it will be highly entertaining while it lasts. |

Could there be anything more adorable than Bret and Jermaine in those toothpaste hats, poking their heads out of the tubes? I think not.

I just watched the first two episodes of this season. It had moments of pure gold.
Favorites: NZ Consulate not noticing Murray gone Bret and Jemaine with the toothpaste heads The mug being the exact cost they were short on the bills The "You Don't Have to be a Prostitute" song and dance Dave's rap in the song Nigerian banker being real "Who's the prostitute? Are you the prostitute?" "No, I'm just the Big Condom" |

I loved the whole Roxanne type song.

When Mr. Lee slapped Jemaine from the cabinet, I could not breathe for a solid 3 minutes. I laughed until tears were streaming down my face.

I like the subtle things they do on this show. Like in the first episode where Bret had the dolls he made of them and the Jermaine one had a "real"
denim jacket on, then when they turn back to talk to the advertising people you see the back of Jermaine's coat has small coat patterns cut out the back of
itl. And then the pants that Bret weaved. 'I'm weaving a pair of pants right now' then later on you see him walking down the street wearing them.
That kind of thing makes this show funny to me.

My very favorite of those moments was in the first season, where Sally is breaking up with Jemaine, there is a sign behind him that says "No
Dumping".
This week was awesome as well. "Well we're NOT taking a bath, Bret". Hahahhahahahahah! |

I love that we are getting more Murry this season but the songs don't seem to be as good to me. I am waiting for more classics like Business Time and The
Most Beautiful Girl.

The songs from last season were the cream of almost 10 years of writing and performing (many of the less creamy ones are a little too "kiwi" to be
used on HBO I imagine). The new ones for this season (aside from Angels which is old) have all been written in a year, so unsurprising they don't seem as
good. They had to be convinced to do the second season because of the work it would entail and I imagine they've also had "help" putting stuff
together...
HOWEVER, I think the FotC ability to rip off other artists is seriously improving and their are some subtleties I'm really enjoying... |
