I have not watched GH in forever but did tonight on Soap Net because of the posts. Thank you! Well worth an hour's sleep. I am a sap for remembers
Filomina (sp?) and cried. I love Max/Diane and their crazy romance.

Holy old episodes on Soapnet. Emily when she was like 17. Nikolas when he didn't look greasy. Edward still being crotchety (and with some Lila) <3.
Kayla Brady relocated to Port Charles. Jason when he was semi-cuter. And Jesus! Jax with that damn hair! </3 and Robin the Ewok. Who the fuck is Taggert?
I can't believe how much a difference the mob makes. These episodes had more comical happenings in them than most episodes playing in the present day. What a crapfest. |

How fun was the Christmas Past on SoapNet? I know the first one was '96 and the second was '97 or '98? I started watching GH after Port Charles
started when Sonny and Brenda were on the run or something like that and Jax and V were trying to find them, I was crushed when V left, had no idea Katherine
and Mac were an item, boring, I did like her a lot though, had no idea who Kayla Brady was or Patch either, so I loved her with Stefan when that all went
down... Robin looked awful with that short hair, in the scene with her and Maxie and Georgie about to go see Mac I thought she was some gay kid day player....

Total agreeance on how great this year's Christmas episode was! Spinelli and Maxie are too cute for words!
We taped the classic Christmas episodes on SoapNet and will probably watch them over the weekend. Looking forward to seeing old characters. Someone above asked about Taggert. He was a good-looking police detective who was constantly threatening to bust Sonny and Jason. He dated Dara Jensen, the assistant DA. And his sister, Gia, dated Nikolas. I bawled my eyes out when Monica finally saw Alan. crying a tiny bit right now just thinking about it...
Loved the eppy from '96. The eppy from '98 was pretty interesting too. I didn't come back to the show until Oct '99, so that was fun for me. the third eppy was from 2004. That was only so-so for me. I would have chosen another older eppy. loved seeing all the people who have 'died'. can't remember- how was Brook Lynn written out? Did she die, or just leave town? re the spoiler-- I am horrified. |

Cute Christmas episode. Cried with Alan and Monica. I'd love a pair of those glasses!! My favorite part... Monica saying how it was her house!! I have to say, I like Alan better dead. He's been great. |

The classic episodes were a lot of fun! We didn't watch every scene, did a lot of fast-forwarding just to get little bits here and there and to get to see
everyone, especially the people who are no longer in Port Charles. When the camera panned all of the faces for the reading of the Christmas story, we were
saying "dead, dead, comatose, dead, left town, dead, etc." as they passed each person.
Cheer up, Miss Ang! You're not alone in remembering when these first aired. It would have been even more fun had they gone further back. It was great to see Lucy, but the writers had already watered down and ruined her character at that point. Too bad. Mr. Bula has been watching since only 2004, so it was hilarious to be pointing people out to him like: "There's the original Lucky, the original Jerry, the old Maxie, Justus Number One, Justus Number Two, Justus Number Three, the first adult AJ, Reginald ..." Other OMG moments: Jax's hair! Lucky's (Greg Vaughn) hair! Bobbie's somewhat-normal-looking face! Sarah Brown's nose! |

speaking of Sarah Brown-- she was so much more attractive back then!!! She should have not starved herself or changed her nose, imo.
I was a little freaked out by how young Sonny looked while selling Christmas trees. wow. he has aged massively in the past decade. |

I am so bored with Nick and Nadine. Couldn't give a rat's a$$ about the plow thingy patent!
On another note, Sonny must have all of the traffic cops on his payroll as well. There is no way he could get from his house to the Metro Court and back in, like, 5 minutes. Poor Claudia, she has been hunting for the dvd for ages now and Sonny keeps coming back too soon! |
