Looks like almost everybody won out in The Bachelor. They
either become the next Bachelorette, find love, or become America's sweetheart and get a gig on DWTS. Or if you're the producers improve your ratings
and have a successful season.

lol at the Melissa ownage on DWTS. I could have cared less whether she or Molly originally got engaged to Jason, but now that she's been dumped it's
fun to watch her have such a good time on a show..

I think there is a huge difference in coming out to support Melissa on DWTS because she's showcasing a talent she possess v. coming out to meet some
fucking tool who bachelor statistics showed would end up NOT marrying her anyway.
I bet her parents are relieved they didn't partake in that scam Jason was putting on.... |

ITA. I'm pretty sure that my parents would refuse to appear on The Bachelor if I was on, but would have no problem supporting me in something that
didn't involve me acting like a whore on camera.

I just had to bring over a couple of posts from TWoP. This poster is about to blow a vein. Can we say over-invested?
Here is a little sampling from portabella. Her more rabid posts have apparently been deleted, so she has probably been warned and will disappear soon. Who the fuck is Melissa? A nobody. And a liar ("I'm going back to normal life and getting my teaching certificate".) I hope she crashes and burns. Channel Surfer I'm guessing Melissa will perform worse that Trista on DWTS, who was horrible. But of course she'll get sympathy votes. <gag> Marissa was a different situation. She was not a horrible dancer, but not particularly good. But she lobbied mega-votes via her close friend Xena/Lucy Lawless (who has in the audience every week.). She even posted pleas to Lucy's rabid fans on Lucy's website: "Ooooooh, I'm so excited!!! Please continue to vote for me!!! I want to be in the group dance!!! Did I tell you I'm sooooo excited???!!!" Then the cancer-survivor support. Then the "I'm going to be a new mom via surrogate." Then "I want to be on the cover of TV Guide, keep calling and voting." (Marissa even admitted going home and creating various email addys and voting for herself over and over.) Then "I want to get my own talk show." Then "Carrie Ann was mean to me. Keep voting to keep me in!!!" But, most of all, her constant "sniff-sniff . . . I'm not a size 2, I'm a plus-size brassy broad, don't ya just loooooove me??!!" Marissa stayed waaaay longer than she should have, and she was the most self-serving contestant, ever. Channel Surfer

I didn't even watch the Bachelor and I don't watch DWTS and I totally begrudge this Melissa person success. She completely misrepresented the situation
to gain sympathy and notoriety at the expense of others, which normally I'm all for, but her wounded broken-hearted victim of love thing would gag inducing
even if she weren't a phony.

Glad someone else has found "portabella" interesting, Lola. I've felt the same as you; who the hell can care this much about a contestant on
TV. I was going to log in and ask if she was Molly (the only one I can think of who woud be that pissed), but figured I'd be banned on the spot. And
besides, I was too lazy.

I wish I had brought Portabella's posts over earlier, because the ones remaining are almost sane in comparison with the ones that have been deleted. I am
kind of surprised she is still posting, because so many of her foaming-at-the-mouth posts are just...gone. I thought she would be banned for "beating a
dead horse" or constantly repeating her increasingly insane hatred, instead, it just looks like they removed the worst (ahem, best in this case) of her
posts.
She is certifiable. While looking for these I found some of her argumentative crap about Brothers and Sisters. I think TV is her life. |
