What kind of father murders innocent people and betrays their friends just to save their kid? I thought I could hate noone more than AL, but Michael is #1 followed closely by Claire. AL has dropped to #3.

This can't be chalked up to parental instinct; Michael is a psycho with serious issues. Why not just come back and tell them "the Others told me to bring you four to them in exchange for Walt" and formulate a plan from there?

He wasn't there for him in his early years and now he's trying to make up for it. Ladybug - I had the same thoughts about the vaccine.

As for Claire, I'm willing to cut her a little slack about the vaccine. Didn't they give the baby some of that stuff when he got sick before? And I'm guessing the Others injected him as well. So if she knows the stuff will keep her child from getting sick, (or think she knows) then yeah, that's not entirely stupid.

That probably scared the shit out of him to the extent where he's probably thinking that going along with what they say is most beneficial to his and Walt's safety, which is what he cares about over anything.

They are just going to give him the boat and let him drive away into the sunset? I have a hard time believing anyone is that delusional.

So yeah, I'd want to have some on hand in case something were to come up again. Michael, however, I agree is completely psycho. That being said...he wasn't exactly the most sane/passive person on the island beforehand. So I can see his character killing people for a kid...especially when it's his kid, and it's a bitch like AL.

I love Jack, but I think he's been coming across as very obtuse lately!! How can he NOT see that Michael is acting in a very furtive manner? I was shocked that Sayid actually saw through Michael's ruse, not because Michael hid it well (in fact, it was pretty fucking transparent), but because someone on that fucking island actually had the brains to notice that something was amiss with Michael. Sayid needs to shoot Jack in the head or something. Michael could use a good several kicks in the head as well. Even Locke's starting to appear dumb. It's kinda pathetic when fucking Charlie appears smarter than half the main characters.
