Can anyone make out what the DHARMA logo is for this ocean hatch in the Others camp? It's so muddy. Doesn't it look a little like the logo on the shark?

Can anyone make out what the DHARMA logo is for this ocean hatch in the Others camp? It's so muddy. Doesn't it look a little like the logo on the shark? |

Just guessing and I doubt I'm right, but it sort of looks like the medical hatch logo because I think I see the curling serpent. Perhaps it's "The Flame?"

Would The Flame station be so close to the water? I don't have the blast door map handy. Is it close to the shoreline?

From what I remember of the map the flame was not close to the ocean...
That being said, just because this cliff or whatever is, in reality, close to the ocean, that doesn't necessarily mean it has to be on the TV show. Make sense? |

Wow! Where did that photo come from?
Looks like the others huts in the fireground, the ones that someone else (Aloha?) got far away photos of while they were being built by some natural black rock formations. Very interesting picture. Very interesting indeed. Can't make out the logo though. eta : Blast door maps more maps, including one of the island with the hatch, black rock etc. Just someone's guess I guess, but looks good to me. |

Just by looking at what all is in these photos I don't think this will be the camp of the "Mr Friendly Others". Look at the material hanging on the poles along with the nets. They look very primitive. More like something the "Dirty Others" would have. In fact the whole camp looks primitive.
I think the "Mr Friendly" others ae probably staying in the ? location. This may be the camp that Echo and Lock are going to not the one that Walt is in. |

I not sure Mr. Friendly and the other Others...realize that Kate found the evidence showing they are not really the primitives they are trying to make them believe they are. So I'm guessing this is another part of their charade. OR there is also the theory that there really are some primitive Others on the island. great pictures...thanks for sharing them here.

Well, we know that Desmond has been staying in The Flame Station. But the implication is, he's there alone. Those huts seem to indicate several people reside at this place. However, we've SEEN the medical station (back in "Maternity Leave").
So this is very confusing. Are Others living there? Or could it be that Michael is just taking the lostaways there as a diversion? Spoilers have said MIKE is the one who found Desmond/ So is he taking them to this place, SAYING it's where The Others live, but he's lying? That this IS the Flame Station, but only Desmond is there? Or were The Others there when Michael was, to pull a fast one on him? Well, at least we know at least partial answers to these questions will be coming this month! At least, I hope we know that. . . . Nice location, though. |

Considering that time when, was it Jin and Eko (?), were in hiding in the bushes when we saw the muddied feet and rags from the knees down of people going thru the jungle (one dragging a stuffed toy teddy bear) - I would say those primitive huts would house people, and children, in that shape or mind set. Remember when we tried to make something of the mud smears on their legs?

The original poster of the far away pics is a local man who drives that way to work every day. www.losttv-forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=18251 Then there was a tourist on his way to visit the Polynesian Cultural Center & he recognized the black rock formation from the poster above's pics.
