Didn't you see the other one? It's right here on the first page.. and seems slightly "clubbish" if you ask me. The OP didn't intend it to be a droolfest, but it's turning out that way. Not that I care.. I'm just grumpy because I was warned about starting a fan thread. eta.. my bad - I just noticed you started this thread first. FWIW. I'll stfu now. :) |

NP...it ain't my fault some people cannot look a few pages back to find an original thread.
Back to Desmond, I hope he becomes a permanant character. He really has become one of the more interesting people on the island compared to Sayid and Charlie. |

Good question, Star. 20 some days ago he thought it was necessary - now he doesn't. He even took a supply with him. Maybe he stopped using it at sea, didn't croak and realized he didn't need it. That.. and the fact none of the Losties are shooting up and it's not killing them either?

Right. I said he took a supply of it with him, meaning the vaccine. He was out on the ocean thinking he was going somewhere
and knew none of the Losties were sick, so maybe after his nine days of immunity were up, he got drunk and said fk it. Actually I have no answer to this question. I'm reaching. |

I don't know if it means anything but on the hatch map there's a quote in Latin that says something like, the cure is worse than the disease. Maybe Des saw that & realized the vaccine was useless.

Like with the button-pushing, Frenchy, I expect that he thought about that every. . .single. . .day. But couldn't risk that it WASN'T true!
Once on the boat again, and getting nowhere, he gave up on everything but booze. When over 9 days passed, and he still wasn't sick, he put two and two together. Of course, that doesn't answer the question why They wanted AARON injected with the stuff. So there are still questions about exactly what's in that serum. |

relieved to have it confirmed that Penny suddenly became much more attractive... I don't recognize either woman from elsewhere... but the name Kylie Monogue is familiar!! Where might I have heard it?
