If you actually watched the finale you would have seen that they were going to raise him together..... Its pretty obvious Claire is not in any state to raise a kid by herself. And to Aaron, Kate is his mom. So what does Kate need to explain? I'm sure Claire will help Kate cover up whatever she needs.

And again, its a fucking TV show, where "fate" intervenes and will help Kate. I'm sure if she can get away with all the other stuff she did, she will somehow get away with violating her parole. In Lostverse, stuff like that does not get in the way of peoples destinies. That's just the way it is on Lost. If you don't think it, maybe you are watching the wrong show.

You would still think that even if she laughed in Jack's face and said she hated him and was going to get all mile high club with Sawyer on the flight back. My point was simply that Kate saying she loves someone when she thinks they're going to die doesn't really mean a whole fuck of a lot to me due to things we've already seen on the show.

Kate's life when she gets back to the mainland won't be pretty. Most likely, her grief paired with the massive amounts of storytelling she will have to weave in order to survive will eventually take a toll on her and she will place a gun in her mouth and blow her brains out, right at the moment that young Aaron walks into the room. He will pick up Kate's brains and run to the living room to show Claire who will scream "My baybee!" for some reason.

Aaron's life will be forever ruined by these events, events that his two mommies only alluded about. One day, at age 26, he will overdose on barbituates and his body will be found in a rundown flophouse days later.

But his hell is just beginning. For once he dies, he transforms back into a baby, except with his present consciousness, to spend eternity with his mother and some pug-nosed guy her mom keeps called 'Chaaaaalie'. In the church scene, witness Aaron's little eyes -- he is screaming inside.
