I'm beginning to wonder if part of the "incident" was a take-over of part of the island by hostile Others and that they were not to be communicated with. It seems like when dad and Walt PM'd each other on the computers that nothing really bad happened as a result. Oh, I also bet that one-eyed Jack turns out to be a good guy!

I find them both to be unlikeable characters. I suppose TPTB thought the camp group to be too small with Jack/Kate/Sawyer and Sayid/Sun/Jin away, but adding Paulo and Nikki doesn't seem to add anything good. Bring back Rose and Bernard, if you need more campsite people!

The death was the worst-kept secret of this season so far, though, so no real harm done. I think the idea of going to The Pearl is to see if Sayid could fix the TV monitors. Then they could check out all the locations to which those monitors link, in the hopes that some of them might reveal J/J/K in the picture! I miss Rose & Bernard, too. If the reason they aren't getting screentime is so that Paulo & Nikki CAN, that's yet another reason I hate Paulo & Nikki!! Meanwhile, I hope Desmond can find someone to confide in. These new precog powers are a horrible burden to bear. And after 3 years of nothing but hatch and Kelvin, the guy needs a real friend! Oh, and I hate Pickett. Had to get that in!

I'd say one of the new people's dead, probably Nikki. Hopefully her death is as fantastic as Arzt's. That's what you get for having premarital relations on the island, bitch.
